And now for a thread no one asked for that I will abandon in a week or two, here's my personal assessment of each E.R character. I'm going to use the IMDB cast list starting with the 1st episode until I run out of steam. I may also do an assessment of their major love interests.

I don't understand the problem...

Ladies, please help me use the internet to invalidate my daughter and make her feel silly....
Ladies, if your fingernails are completely bare (no polish, acrylics, etc.) give this a “like”. My daughter is convinced that “everyone” has fake nails or a manicure and I’m the odd man out. She’s 12. 😄

Conservatives: fast food jobs are only for teenagers and losers. No one should be in them for long. Conservatives when fast food joints implement changes that allow them to make efficient use of less staff: This is an abomination before God and man.

What a day to be Adin Hill...

So here's the thing, every sports broadcast in America does this. Networks want to grow viewership, sponsors and ownership want to grow their fanbases.
American TV has to indicate 🟥 means ‘down to 10 players’ 🤦🏿‍♂️ #FIFAWorldCup

You do, however, want a cookie
Is this a safe space to say that I hate the ‘girly-popping’ of sports Most of us just want to watch and enjoy sports, same as men and anyone else. We don’t need makeup comparisons, hockey romance books and ‘boy aquarium hehe’ to make sports enjoyable

I understand chatgpt hate, I really do but people mostly google their vows. Very few are writing their own from scratch
went to a wedding this weekend heard the hand of chatgpt in the wedding vows cringed in multiple dimensions as i realized this will be every wedding for the rest of time

If you think Elle Woods wouldn't have spend her nights gluing rhinestones on a Kraken jersey and have a deep library of goalie stats to pull out to shut up any misogynist beer belly fan daring to question her interest in hockey, idk what to tell you.

Hot take: Men also watch because they like the way the players look. Women are just more honest. Besides all that, I've never met a girl who liked a hottie who sucks actually, do know of some trying to convince me of the appeal of a certified garden troll who scores a lot.
Am I too woke or is the recent “girliefication” of sports genuinely a problem? So many posts about “getting the girlies into sports” w/ players’ looks, pink sparkly slideshows comparing elements of the game to makeup, shopping, etc. and it’s like…you’re part of the problem lol

Like I don't know how to tell you this but despite the fancamification of it all, 80% of hockey players look like they snuck on earth, especially during the game.

This is such a weird thing to fixate on. People who share a language across various countries often use different words for the same thing. Spanish speaks do it. Who cares?
If any Americans are confused about whether it’s called soccer or football and don’t accept that the country that invented it calls it football - ask them what the Fs in FIFA stand for ⚽️
Community note
The term “soccer” originated in late 19th-century Britain as slang for “association football,” not as an American invention. britannica.com/story/why-do-s…

Do you dumb dumbs really think libs take issue with Waffle House and Bucee's and not the lack of accessible, affordable healthcare and a well funded education system?
Libs watching Europeans post about how great America is

No, it's not. Men have been silly about sports since sports began. We've just somehow decided it's fine.

Idk, a lot of people are divorced, Brenda, some men are widowed. But honestly, it's not that men over x age without kids is rare. It's that after a certain age, there's probably a very good reason or 12 they're single and childless.

That weird bitch understood exactly what I meant but for anyone else confused, there are a slew of men who have children but aren't someone's "baby daddy". And you don't have to date them (I wouldn't) but they make an increasingly larger portion of the pool as we age.

No.
many SAHM are victims to social media because throughout history SAH(anything tbh) has exclusively been reserved for wealthy families. everyone else has had a job. $250k, it the only number to consider being a SAHS, smaller than that require you to have a job to understand why.

There have always been a variety of ways to get married and it's always centered primarily around the wishes of the couple and/or their immediate family
The child-free wedding trend popular among millennials and gen z-ers is the perfect example of their extended childhood behavior. The “it’s my big day” sentiment. You’re actually not supposed to feel that way as an adult. Not once did my inner-monologue spew the phrase “my big day” while planning my wedding. Embarrassing. As an adult you should actually be thinking about bringing joy to everyone else, and you should *especially* be thinking about bringing joy to children.

I'm sorry but if your VBS program is that expensive, you're doing too much AND you should fundraise among your own congregation, not charge per head. Or limit attendance to church members.
Replying to @Katherine111594
VBS these days is expensive to put on. To do a full program for 40 kids with all the decorations and crafts is about $4000. And in many congregations the reality is that maybe 20% are "your kids." So you get two internal reactions. 1) Why are we doing this? And 2) Why are we spending all this money and there are no results. Sometimes you address both and just don't do VBS. Which is always a pain in the rear and ends up being Pastor and his family personal mission week. Or you take question 2 off the table by asking for like $20 to offset crafts and snacks for the week.

The number of people in this thread saying things like "it's heavily abused" and "people use it for free childcare"... They're going to hell.
Do most people have to pay for VBS? I have never heard of this before, but some are saying it’s common now?

I'm personally a fan of people doing facial analysis on the people around them and concluding it's definitely disapproval of you and not literally anything else that's not about you. Them: this meeting could have been an email. You: MY KIDS ARE ANGELS, GODDAMMIT!
love when people give you a look for having your toddler in the café. it is 2:40pm on a thursday. you are intruding on us with your laptop actually.
