I think I've finally been AI-pilled.
At @OsloFF I got to try a new Claude skill from @MouxDesign that helped me mock up a new app for the Cake Wallet family I'd been thinking about for 2y in about 30min in the middle of the night.
Then I was able to build a working PoC of it with real funds in a few hours the next morning to show @vikrantnyc in person.
This saves me and my design team SO MUCH TIME when I have a specific feature or app I want us to build, I can bring my vision to life in a few minutes and save many meetings and hours of back and forth, all with much higher fidelity than I could have directly in Figma otherwise.
I'm also heavily using Claude Code to help on the infrastructure side, as I'm our infrastructure engineer while also being COO and need any time-saving measures I can there (while of course being extremely cautious and manually reviewing every change, testing in dev, etc.)
Enhancing skills I already have (product, ex-SRE, etc.) is the prime fit IMO, instead of making me something I am not (a dev, designer, etc.).

If you want your wallet/app to have any chance at traction for the billions of people in developing nations, it needs to work out of the box with very low stakes.

At the 2026 Oslo Freedom Forum’s Freedom Tech track, @waithiraah, co-founder of the Bitcoin payment app Tando, explains that many people need to see Bitcoin work before they trust it. Tando lets users test it with just a hundred sats (less than a dollar), and verify the experience for themselves. It’s a bet that Bitcoin adoption will grow when the tool feels accessible.

One thing AI is doing is making it so much easier to bring ideas to life, and honestly, this has me really excited.
We currently have a UI/UX pathway under @DadaDevs , and the dev classes are slowly becoming some of my favorite sessions
No matter how busy I get, I’m always somewhere in the background listening in.
Last week, the devs were challenged to vibe code their application ideas.
Of course I didnt have an entire week to work on it, this was honestly just me playing around with what I’ve been learning my love for cats 🐱
I know the challenges that come with cat adoption, so I thought… that will be my project
Today, after hub activities, I almost skipped the class, because I was exhausted (and honestly I dont have to attend)😭
But I chose low time preference and did the work!
Still learning. But I actually think it turned out really cute 😂🐾

From fintech to healthcare to pet-care platforms, participants came back with thoughtfully designed applications tackling real-life problems — and the most exciting part? Many of the UI/UX flows and screens were built and refined with AI.
The session was highly interactive, full of feedback, questions, iteration, and conversations around what makes products not just functional — but usable.
Now that we’re approaching the final session, one thing is already clear:
people are no longer just thinking about ideas… they’re thinking deeply about users.
The UI/UX & AI Pathway has been an incredibly rewarding experience so far.
