So happy to support this amazing work Ari - a pleasure to work with you!
In partnership with Changing Seas South Florida PBS, Adriana Rojas Corzo's research on the habitat use of young whitespotted eagle rays will be showcased in a special episode in June 2024, revealing the first nursery areas for these rays in North America! saveourseas.com/update/caugh…

Catching a wave… a pressure wave that is! Our research team captured this image of a #dolphin #bowriding in the pressure wave that was created as this large tanker headed out from #PortManatee in #TampaBay. #fromthefield #animalbehavior

Thanks Sue et al for sharing data on our eagle rays in that mix!
Our nearshore Charlotte Harbor array had 13,239 detections that weren't from our fish. Data for 125 tagged animals (note the lack of fish bias) just shared with tag owners through @iTAG_Science ! Love seeing orphan detections going home🙂 27 tags unknown.😐 @SFFGS_UF @MyFWC
