The decision by Revenue to treat payments to GPโs under GMS as individual income must be reversed. These monies are paid into GP practice account and Doctors pay tax on salary drawn. I was expecting very little at @berlinmarathonE yesterday. A lot of more important difficulties at home took priority. There was very little marathon focused training and I went out at a pace which I felt sure I couldnโt maintain for the full distance.

Holy crap Brendan. In work and your panel tell me consultants donโt work weekends. Consultant Radiologist reported all my urgent CT scans today. Just off phone with Consultant Orthpaedic Surgeon (9pm) who has waited all day to get his patients with broken hips into theatre.

In the last week we have been contacted by 3 frantic GPs who either cannot find locums for their upcoming holidays or sick leave, or have been let down by agreed locums. Asking if any graduates of scheme available. Needless to say there are none #GPcrisis
