Still buzzing from all the neuroaesthetics and creativity insight downloaded at @IAEAPalma2024 . As I am just beginning my PhD in the @ARTIS_H2020 lab (pictured) and @EvaLabVienna - I feel so grateful to learn from so many emerging & established groovy people. Gracias a todos 🤎

@IAEAPalma2024 What a great conference! Here just a very brief impression of only some of our contributions. We were honored to present our work amongst so many other great contributions, and thankful for the great scientific discussions as well as just happy and fun times! #iaea

Hi, all! I've had quite a dreadful couple of years dealing with chronic illnesses and disabilities that has delayed my PhD even further. Would be truly grateful if you donate to my fundraiser or help me reach a larger audience by sharing it. Thanks a ton! gofund.me/a8a339a7

It's Friday! Didn't get much done today except writing a short proposal for a summer academy workshop for students and answering emails, but anyway: Time to start the weekend and relax. ☀️ Have some spring blooms from my lunch walk. 😊🌸 (@Neurosresh) #PhdLife #AcadamicChatter

We discussed what we liked (and didn't like) about Hood Feminism today BUT we at @fem_abc not only want to talk about feminist issues, we want to act!💪 So we summarized some concrete action points (re: being a good intersectional feminist ally) that you can find in the thread⬇️
Let's read together! ✨ This round's pick is "Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women That a Movement Forgot" by Mikki Kendall (goodreads.com/book/show/3668…)! 📚 The next virtual meeting will take place on Mon, Mar 7th from 4pm GMT (check your time zone: tinyurl.com/femabc). 💜

I'm so proud of this lil community of feminists! ✊🏼💜✨ Here are some actionable points inspired by Hood Feminism that we think might be helpful in order to become a better intersectional feminist ally. Lastly, thanks to @helenahhartmann for compiling this EXCELLENT thread! 💜

As the grandchild of Bangladeshi refugees, hearing them talk about their struggle would always rip my heart out. I honestly cannot imagine what refugees of war go through. I can only hope that they are met with kindness, empathy, love, and their dignity intact.
