You Can’t Fight For Something You Never Had While some Arab families had lived in this land for generations, the Arab population grew dramatically during the British Mandate as Zionist development created jobs and economic opportunities that attracted large numbers of migrants from Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and Lebanon. The political entity called “Palestine” was created by the British and only existed for 28 years. If today’s self-proclaimed Palestinians want to be honest, they should tell us: What was the name of the historic Islamic Arab entity that existed here before the British Mandate?
