1. Those companies did not build those stadiums; they simply paid for the naming rights. For example, Mercedes-Benz pays an average of $12 million per year to have its name on the stadium. 2. The disparity between the cost of maintaining such facilities and the income they generate is so vast that they could easily become white elephants. Maintaining the Mercedes-Benz Stadium costs about $5 million monthly. There is simply no market for such facilities here. 3. What we need are small arenas (with capacities of 5,000 to 10,000) that have well-maintained playing surfaces and other decent facilities in every Local Government Area across the country. 4. Local Governments (not the president) across the country should be doing (thats if their governors allow local government autonomy to thrive) 5. We can also encourage companies and individuals to build such facilities. For example, I built full-sized pitch (personal funds) at Urban Day Grammar School, Ibadan. Guess what? We have already unearthed some talents who are now on their way to trials abroad. Imagine what we could achieve if we all joined hands and did this at scale.

You guys are exhausting. It’s like you delight in bad news. A: Fuel prices are coming down
Normal people: good news. hopefully it drops further
Mad people: by how much exactly? is that even a reduction? B: Foreign reserves are rising
Normal people: great, this strengthens the economy
Mad people: they’ve started cooking numbers again. C: Credit rating has improved
Normal people: positive signal, could attract FPIs and support the naira
Mad people: Tinubu has these ones in his pocket too Many bad things are happening that we should amplify and rightfully so . But when you see a good thing, acknowledge it na. You don’t even have to tbh, but why dismiss it? It doesn’t translate political allegiance. It doesn’t. Sheeeesh!

This obsession with the Presidency. What's a President's business with what companies do with their money? Why exactly should companies build these facilities? What is the business case? And there's no demand for "world class stadiums" in Nigeria.Have we used the ones we have?

Italy's issues is that they have no alternatives when the back 3 doesn't work. They don't have good wingers to go 3-4-3 or a classic no 10 that can play the false 9. They rely on their wingbacks to create for them

The man who masterminded Zambia's first ever Afcon win. The man behind Ivory Coast 2015 Afcon win. The first coach to win 2 Afcons. The man behind Saudi Arabia beating Argentina in Qatar 2022. Today be takes the Tunisia job. Hoping to perform an unlikely miracle. I do not rule that out. He has proven to be a miracle worker in the past. Beware Netherlands. Beware Japan. An African serial winner and specialist is at the helm. Today, I feel Tunisian. We see.

Yoruba is also tonal language with every word ending in viral sounds. Some dialects are spoken as if you are singing. That is why it has always been a preferred choice for singing by most people - even those who are not Yorubas. Christy Essien was not Yoruba but her biggest musical legacy is a Yoruba song 'Seun Rere'. It is a musical language with a family of drums, including one that mimics the language's tonality. What you call Yoruba tax is a blessing from God to the Yorubas & those who are ready to partake of it.
Yoruba Tax is insane… only Burna Boy and Rema are the one who escaped

Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, and the rest aren’t dumb enough to actually think Elon Musk has a trillion dollars in cash waiting to be taxed. They just think their followers are dumb enough to think that. And they are.

I know, right? If only he employed, say, 100k people. If only he revitalized a dead auto factory in Fremont, California and made cars there, again? If only he invented a product to allow someone to get Internet access anywhere on the planet, affordably? If only he proved that electric cars were something people wanted, helping to reduce pollution? If only he revitalized American excellence in space, allowing us to not rely on Russia for orbital boosting?
Imagine if Elon Musk did something to benefit others with his trillion.

So what have the Saudi Royal families and the other Oil rich families in the Muslim world done to solve hunger? I mean other than using their money to fund football clubs and host world cups.
If he was a muslim 2.5% Zakat from him would had been solved world hunger crisis

This is just a stupid. Instead of finding a way to make more people rich and be pulled out of poverty, you'd rather channel your energy to pulling down the rich.
Today, Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire.
It's a ridiculous amount of money for one person to be sitting on and comes as countless Americans are struggling to afford food, housing, and health care.   We need to tax wealth – immediately.

How does your conuding sentence correlate to your main point?
I am 52 years old. I have been working since I was 15 years old. I have no savings, no retirement, and will never own a home before I die. And there is now a trillionaire.

African was not divided, Africa was unanimously united in support of Mexico.
🩸Blood is supposed to be thicker than water, but today Africa feels divided😭 The resentment toward South Africa🇿🇦 is forced, punishing and hating a sister nation just for demanding accountability over illegal migration issues😔 How can we preach Ubuntu but cheer for Mexico 🇲🇽 while our own neighbor stands alone? If they offended us, let love and forgiveness win. Will Mexicans support us like this? Tonight, let’s use this game to mend broken pieces, choose peace, apologize to South Africa and heal the continent. Mama Africa is behind you, South Africa. Bring the world Cup home. 🕊️✨🇿🇦 #FIFAWorldCup #WorldCup2026
