šØšŖšø Breaking: Spain has dispatched a navy vessel to support the Global Sumud Flotilla heading to Gaza. Speaking from New York, Prime Minister Pedro SĆ”nchez said Spain ācondemns the genocideā in Gaza and demanded Israel uphold international law and allow Spanish citizens to sail safely in the Mediterranean.
The offshore patrol ship Furor will depart from Cartagena, ready to assist or rescue flotilla boats carrying aid. Spain also rallied 17 countries behind a joint warning that any attack on the flotilla will bring accountability before international courts. Italy has likewise sent a frigate to the area.
