This week I joined @repblumenauer and @PortlandBPS to celebrate the addition of the Jim Pepper House to the National Register of Historic Places. Pepper was renowned for his compositions melding popular jazz music with rock, folk, and especially traditional Native American music.
Thank you to @SecretaryPete for visiting Portland and working to highlight the need to build a better 82nd Avenue. We're also grateful to @repblumenauer and @CommMapps for their leadership and support.
ALT Summer burn ban for all areas of Multnomah County to begin Friday, June 16, 2023, which will be implemented in phases over the next couple weeks. Dates may change due to worsening weather: June 16, 2023 – ban begins with backyard burning. June 30, 2023 – last day for agricultural burning and permitted open burning. July 6, 2023 – complete burn ban. The complete burn ban will remain in effect until further notice.
