This always puzzles me. Why is Labour as wedded to the market supply argument as Conservatives? Every government should look at policies to meet affordable need but I would have thought this would be home turf for Labour ???

Interesting stats @DunkinWedd. I've looked up England's latest (as opposed to UK in your tweet). 23.2m households in 2018. Forecast to increase to 24.8m in 2028. Dwellings in March 2019: 24,413,501. So yes, in England 1m more dwellings than households @ExplorerDale
