📸 The 10th edition of the African Peace and Security Annual Conference (#APSACO2026) concludes today after two days of dialogue and strategic reflection on Africa’s evolving peace and security landscape. 🗣️ Bringing together policymakers, diplomats, military leaders, practitioners, and researchers, the conference reflected on a decade of transformations in Africa’s peace and security landscape. 📌 Discussions examined how conflict dynamics, peacekeeping efforts, governance challenges, and terrorist threats have evolved over time, while highlighting the ways technological change, emerging forms of warfare, and shifting regional and international partnerships are reshaping the continent’s strategic environment. 🌍 Looking ahead, participants explored the trends and uncertainties that could shape Africa’s security landscape by 2036, emphasizing the need for resilient institutions, adaptive security frameworks, stronger regional cooperation, and African-led responses to emerging challenges.
