Charles once asked himself on an AMA, "what really tells you that Cardano has done something unique, magical and special." I loved his answer. Some minor edits to get it down below the old 2min20sec video upload limit. It's overdue, #Cardano is ready, who's feeling the call ❤️

Cardano is built like a tank 💪
When #Cardano embraced formal verification, everyone and their dog called it “innovation at the pace of academia” You gotta give credit when it’s due. In hindsight, this was a genius investment. cardano:native is built like a tank.

The future of Cardano is utility, not hype. The entire crypto industry has failed because we allow sentiment to control price. Lets get back to basics and fund things that have real utility. @IntersectCPC received over 20 proposals for product research we're currently evaluating

As one of the official interim-CEOs of Cardano today, I have some announcements to make. - The SPO call was full today with good participation. Everyone is preparing for the Van Rossem hardfork. SPOs are upgrading to 11.0.1 release to ensure they are ready. - I have had 3 meetings with development teams and all are still building. - I'm personally working on a demo wallet for @Shield_USD on Midnight. The guts are working and I'm on to the fun part of the UX. @iamwilco has some amazing designer skills.
I'm taking a break. TTYL

Charles Hoskinson just poured his heart out on Spaces. He has no power to unilaterally fix Cardano, gets zero love, catches every single blame for failures, and watches his funding proposals get rejected by the same people who then complain nothing improves. This man is getting crushed under undeserved hate while carrying the weight of the entire project he built from nothing. Cardano community it’s time to wake up. Unify, support the founder and the team whose vision created this entire foundation, or watch it slowly die. No more toxicity. #Cardano $ADA @IOHK_Charles

Very sad to see this, a true pillar of the Cardano community. Something tells me we can in some way all pull together to make sure TapTools stays in business, we can’t afford to lose them.
After four years of building for Cardano, today we have difficult news to share.

There are still people who call Bitcoin “gambling” or a “scam” because they’ve only seen the narrative shaped by the systems that control money, the media, and finance. But in countries hit by hyperinflation, currency collapse, and failed monetary policies, Bitcoin & crypto are not about speculation, they’re about inclusion. The future of finance is transparent, borderless, and already being adopted. Stay ₿ullish! 🔥

⏳ Mosaic, your gateway to the Internet of AI: it’s coming! Quick example of Mosaic IDE in action: using @ollama's Qwen2.5-Coder:14B to create a Hypercycle Node Health Dashboard. Adapt the script to monitor nodes across multiple wallet addresses. Use locally run or cloud-based AI agents to write and load code, detect and fix errors, and deploy Python scripts -- all in one environment, with no prior coding experience required. #Mosaic #Hypercycle #AIagents

Elon Musk just defended America better than every politician in Washington combined. Musk: “After World War 2, the US could have basically taken over the world and any country. Like we got nukes, nobody else got nukes. We don’t even have to lose soldiers. Which country do you want?” One nation on earth held a weapon nobody else had. Total dominance. Zero competition. No risk of retaliation. Every empire in history that held that kind of advantage used it. Rome. The Mongols. The British. The Ottomans. They conquered until they collapsed. America had a bigger advantage than all of them combined. And it rebuilt the countries it just defeated. Musk: “The United States actually helped rebuild countries. So it helped rebuild Europe, it helped rebuild Japan. This is very unusual behavior, almost unprecedented.” Almost unprecedented? It had never happened before. Not once in 5,000 years of recorded history. The Marshall Plan wasn’t foreign aid. It was the most radical act of restraint any superpower ever committed. America turned its enemies into allies. Turned rubble into economies. Turned surrender into partnership. Germany went from ashes to the economic engine of Europe in a generation. Japan went from unconditional surrender to the third largest economy on earth. Three years after the war, America was flying food into Berlin. A city in the heart of the nation that just tried to destroy it. That’s not policy. That’s a civilization deciding what it is at the exact moment it has the power to be anything. You’re being told a story right now. That America is the villain of history. You hear it everywhere. Media. Universities. Social platforms. Musk: “There’s always like, well America’s done bad things. Well of course America’s done bad things, but one needs to look at the whole track record.” Every nation on earth has dark chapters. Every single one. The difference is what a country does when nobody can stop it. And when nobody could stop America, it fed its enemies and rebuilt their cities. Musk: “The history of China suggests that China is not acquisitive. Meaning they’re not going to go out and invade a whole bunch of countries.” Probably right. China has historically built walls, not fleets. But the real question isn’t about borders anymore. We’re approaching a moment that mirrors 1945 in ways nobody has fully processed yet. AI is going to give a handful of people a power advantage that makes nuclear monopoly look quaint. If someone is going to hold that kind of power, who do you want it to be? The country that conquered when it could? Or the one that rebuilt when it didn’t have to? Every alliance. Every trade route. Every economy. Billions lifted out of poverty. All of it traces back to one act of restraint that had never been done before. And carries no guarantee of being repeated. The most powerful thing America ever did wasn’t building the bomb. It was what it didn’t do after.

CLARITY is closer than ever. The bill is strong. It will benefit the American people by making the US financial system faster, cheaper and more accessible. It will also ensure that the US leads in the global race to build the next generation of our financial system. Huge thank you to the Senate, their staff, and 3.7m @standwithcrypto advocates for helping to get this legislation to where it is today. Mark it up.

Massive improvement and good leadership from @SenatorTimScott and the many others pushing to improve the bill
JUST IN: The new U.S. crypto market structure bill does NOT classify decentralized “network tokens” as securities under federal securities laws. The framework heavily favors: • Decentralized governance • Open-source infrastructure • Non-custodial staking • Distributed validator participation Cardano checks every box.

You may have started seeing some posts from these guys. We're the new maintainers of the daedalus wallet and 8.0.0 is our first release which adds mithril support for fast bootstrap. If you are an spo and still not running a mithril signer, it is time to get involved. Mithril is critical infrastructure as cardano integrates more outside of its pond. It's the same team as dripdropz plus some members, minus some others. Doxed team is below.

The Sun is by far the biggest source of energy in our solar system Even here on Earth, the Sun accounts for roughly 100% of all the energy we use - fossil fuels are just ancient sunlight stored in plants, while wind, hydro, biomass, and solar power are all driven by the Sun right now Beyond Earth, the vast majority of spacecraft, satellites, and future Mars bases run entirely on solar energy The Sun puts out 3.8 × 10²⁶ watts - more energy in a single second than all of humanity has ever used in its entire history And just to put it in perspective: the Sun makes up 99.8% of the total mass of our entire solar system. Jupiter is only 0.1%. Everything else (Earth, Mars, asteroids, etc.) is basically miscellaneous We’re finally learning how to use the only energy source that actually matters ☀️

This is big news. These biological neurons are orders of magnitude more energy efficient than any advanced neural nets processing this kind of stimuli. Compare 1000W to 20W.
