The questions are not if the SpaceX IPO is impacting markets now, just how and how much. People are selling to raise cash but that’s the easy take. How the big hedge funds and Delta One desks are moving things around is a tale yet to be told. (And now back to writing Power Insider on the Amtrak home)

"The volume of products that are offline is significantly higher than the amount of crude. I think it's stressing the whole complex and creating this directionless market because the physical market in crude is fully met," says @WellsFargo's Sam Margolin. cnbc.com/video/2026/06/10/ir…

President Trump posting: "Last month, I directed our Great U.S. Military to execute a secret mission to support Oil Tankers and other Commercial Ships through the Straight of Hormuz. Today, I am pleased to announce that this effort has resulted in more than 100 MILLION Barrels of Oil making its way through the Straight, and into the Open Market. More than 200 Commercial Ships have safely traveled through the Strait." A few takes based on my reporting 1. That number is going to be higher than some other estimates you see ... but also keep in mind 2. It's hard to know exactly how many ships have gone through Hormuz as some turn off transponder, some are 'secretly' escorted out (as Prez says here), some pay the Iran toll but don't want anyone to know etc. 3. Oil tankers come in all shapes and sizes. A VLCC (supertanker) carries ~2m barrels. Some smaller tankers carry much less. So 200 ships w/100m barrels implies many of the ships may be smaller, more regional tankers (say, Bahrain to India or somesuch) vs. a massive tanker that would go from Iraq to California. Either way this flows with the on-record comments I got yesterday from the Energy Secretary here in D.C. Also .. as we've shown you the last few weeks, ships are moving around in the Gulf and loading oil.

Q to Strategy CEO Phong Le: Why did you sell [Bitcoin]? A: We sold because we wanted to inoculate the market. And we sold because we wanted to test our process. Q: And what did you learn from that? A: We learned that everything works, right? The question is, why does the sale of 32 Bitcoin get so much attention? Our institutional investors that we talk to don't seem unnerved by it. I think the unnerving is the retail community that has views on never selling your Bitcoin that are "crypto anarchist." And frankly, we have a lot more than just them as constituents. @PowerLunch @CNBC

"The valuation is just sky-high," says LiveSwitch's Brian Hamilton on SpaceX. "Not a bad company necessarily, although they're all over the place regarding their mission. Super overvalued." $SPCX cnbc.com/video/2026/06/09/sp…
