Dr Robby Sikka tells us Eric Cressey is the “best. Dr Sikka tells us on his home page that integrity., compassion, curiosity and knowledge are driving forces in his life. Dr Sikka omitted the key word that seems to be key to all these people overseeing our young men…..cash We have an epidemic of baseball pitching injuries. They all start with how baseball pitchers stand on the mound. I understand Dr Sikka may not be a kinesiologist, but if he opens a textbook he’ll find that knees are hinge joints. That means the knee can’t bend sideways without injury. Eric Cressey has no problem with forcing pitchers to stride sideways from pitching mounds when the simple solution is to turn feet 90° and engage the most powerful muscle available to baseball pitchers. So my question is. Why do you glorify someone who is profiting so handsomely from the abuse of boy? Please keep your 7 yr old in mind when answering. The internet is forever. Thanks. .

Didn’t Edgar Quero spent the offseason with PTBoddy Mr Prehension wrote: “Edgar is using his pec minor to protract his right scap in his load this season… The Prectoralis Minor forestry told the scapula bone. It would be impossible to swing a baseball bat (or throw a pitch) without using the Serratus Anterior. He used his serratus anterior for the same role last season” And this season
Edgar Quero is 2 for his last 21 and his .OPS is down to .488 He had an OPS of .689 in 2025…. Edgar is using his pec minor to protract his right scap in his load this season… He used his serratus anterior for the same role last season Here’s an article ESPN wrote with some behind the scenes look at what goes into building one of the least productive swings in all of baseball… espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/4775…

Steroids work. I’m sure no one is tempted. Shocker

Squish the bug is an ok start for young kids. The add squish the bug but show the rear show lacings to the pitcher. The drills teach the skills but cues help

The chance that the sanctimonious @BillAckman or Mr Truth @ElonMusk are going to tell the dads of #BBTrumpland to think that this is disgraceful behavior is zero.
President Trump's investment accounts traded between $212 million and $695 million in stocks and other securities over the first three months of the year, an unprecedented sum for a sitting president. Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, Netflix, Oracle and AMD were among the companies that appeared most frequently in the portfolio.

To wit: Shohei Ohtani has had two elbow unnecessary surgeries since onboarding in #BBTrumpland.
Replying to @KNCTathletics
The same thing happens physically. For example, an athlete with more usable range of motion has movement solutions available (greater true hip-shoulder separation, more layback, ability to keep pelvis closed longer) that simply don't exist for someone with less.

Mr Baggett is correct here. Male baseball pitchers are not going to rupture their Ulnar Collateral Ligament unless they are trained to do it. That’s why I call it…..#BBTrumpland
One thing that gets lost when people talk about strength, mobility, power, and physical preparation is that these qualities don't directly create skill. What they do is expand affordances. @ben_baggett

I’ve never seen a male make it to the top without strong parental involvement. The difficulty is boys don’t like hearing from dear old dad. Not easy.

If you are coaching a college baseball team without significant NiL, you better develop a wide network of dependable JuCo contacts.

Neither pitcher threw baseballs up in the air. Neither pitcher pulled on bands. Neither pitcher threw weighted balls. Spahn had several knee surgeries (striding sideways and all) As we’ve know for decades. Is Al Jaeger signaling it’s time to stop neutering our young men?
From Nolan Ryan on the greatest game ever pitched 👇 42 yr old Warren Spahn & 25 yr old Juan Marichal both threw 16 inn’s & 200 pitches. Because they could. This isn’t condoning 200 pitch games. It just sheds light on what the arm is capable of doing when prepared properly.

Correct And his two elbow surgeries.
Shohei Ohtani thinks flawed pitching mechanics led to recent knee swelling trib.al/j4acwPQ

The movement of the Metacarpal bones defines the kinesiological actions of the hand. The Metacarpals move closer together and farther apart. The Interossei muscles originate in the hand and attached to fingers. They move the fingers laterally and medially. There are three Palmer Interossei muscles and 4 dorsal Interossei muscles of the hand. Which one (s) is Mr Skenes not using? The Flexor Digitorum Superficials muscle flexes the fingers. The Flexor Digitorum Superficialis muscle attaches to the lateral surfaces of the Middle Phalange II, III, IV and V bones of the fingers and to the medial epicondyle of the humerus bone, to the coronoid process of the Ulna bone and to the obliquely to the Radius bone. To suggest a pitcher doesn’t use his fingers to grip drive and release a baseball is beyond absurd. Paul’s loss of velocity is pronounced. Paul Skenes is either lengthening his glenohumeral and/or Ulnar Collateral Ligaments or dogging it to save his arm for a real team.
The Pirates haven’t won a Paul Skenes start in over a month and are currently trailing the Marlins 2-1… Skenes has seen a dip in his fastball velocity this season and nobody in Pittsburgh seems to notice he’s holding the baseball with a different set of muscles this year…. Here he is last June holding the baseball with his interossei muscles (left video) compared to his flexor digitorum superficialis today (right video)…. The interossei originate on the hand, the FDS originate on the humerus…. This is why his hand & wrist orientation is so different at the top of his motion as well as at his follow through….

When I look at Wemby, I think of all the neutered young American men in #BBTrumpland. It’s time to wake up well past time

"This is the biggest lesson of my life, as a team there is no better experience than what we just lived." Wemby is determined to use these NBA Finals as fuel to motivate him and the Spurs 💯

The dads of #BBTrumpland will continue to think what they are told to think and say what they are told to say. And @BillAckman and @elonmusk will laugh at them all the way to the bank. Saps

Paul Skenes warms up by mioanglosly contracting muscles that are designed to plioanglosly contract. I know it’s Pittsburgh….. but no bueno.
What works for one athlete may not work for another because every athlete presents different movement restrictions, compensations, injury history, and sensory needs. The best warm up is the one that helps THAT athlete move and perform better. And if an athlete continues to feel bad, move poorly, or underperform after a warm up, it should be modified, not blindly repeated.

My strong advise for this unfortunate but all too typical young man is to make sure he understands this statement…. back of vertical elbow faces the plate = Lat on fire That’s his only chance. Rest is not the answer. Gl
To best serve an athlete, sports medicine and strength and conditioning specialists need to look comprehensively at a number of factors and work as a team. Here's a quick case study: ericcressey.com/csp-elite-ba…

Eric Cressey likes to end his infomercials by asking what the guest would say to his 16 yo self. My question would be what the present day Shane Drohan dads would say to their 16 yo sons. In this case, hopefully they’d express regret that their 16 yo had to wait until his 20s to learn my most effective pitch. They never listen. Gl

Ah the call goes out to ASMI from the newly minted PhD, Dr Brent Pourciau. “Dr. James Andrews has repeatedly warned that year-round baseball is one of the biggest contributors to the youth arm injury epidemic.” Dr Andrews just retired with $100 milly of #BBTrumpland hard earned cash. He did regret not solving one pitching arm injury issue. Where are the moms?
🚨 TWO 12-YEAR-OLDS. Both dream of throwing 90 mph. One spends years building strength, athleticism, mechanics, and recovery. The other chases velocity every weekend, pitches year-round, and ignores the warning signs. By 18, their careers look completely different. ⚾ Velocity isn’t dangerous. The way most players chase it is. Dr. James Andrews has repeatedly warned that year-round baseball is one of the biggest contributors to the youth arm injury epidemic. Yet thousands of young pitchers are still being told: ❌ Throw more. ❌ Pitch more. ❌ Play more games. Instead of: ✅ Get stronger. ✅ Move better. ✅ Build athleticism. ✅ Learn efficient mechanics. ✅ Manage workload. The goal isn’t just to throw 90. The goal is to throw 90 and stay healthy enough to use it. If you’re serious about helping your athlete gain velocity without sacrificing their arm, this is exactly what we teach inside the 3X Velocity Camp. 🔥 Learn the same development system that has produced hundreds of pitchers throwing 90 mph. 👇 Reserve your spot now: 🔗 topvelocity.org/3x-velocity-… Comment “90” and we’ll send you more information
