So
@moonpay just acquired
@dflow for $100M. 100. Ms.
Our client
@SuperteamUSA has a Ranger from both companies. A Ranger being a representative that helps early-stage founders build on
@solana. It’s a way for them to give back to the ecosystem they’ve had so much success in.
@NickyScanz leads Superteam USA and reached out to us
@Proof_Coverage for a piece on the acquisition. We needed a creative idea, we didn’t want a boring sit-down interview.
So I texted my friend
@DanJablonski, who leads growth at DFlow. Asked him if he has any shared hobbies or interests with
@HalseyHuth (his MoonPay counterpart). Dan’s response was classic Dan. “yep, our shared hobby is global domination.” Word for word. And not that helpful.
Until Divine Providence helped me connect the dots between “global domination” and a board game with the same name. Risk: Global Domination.
What if we had Dan and Halsey go head to head to bring out their competitive spirit and see which team came out on top? And what if we casually interviewed them about the acquisition while doing it?
The result is this video, which I’m super proud to present, had a ton of fun making, and is making its mark on the tech world’s video content in its own small way. I hope you enjoy.
The
@moonpay acquisition of
@dflow: a strategic breakdown disguised as a friendly game of Risk
