1/ Delighted to share my first first-author paper from my PhD @PutoczkiLab @WEHI_research 🎉 Starting from the simple observation of different organoid morphologies present in the culture, then I just kept going down the rabbit hole. 🐰 nature.com/articles/s41418-0…

“A CPC-shelterin-BTR axis regulates mitotic telomere deprotection”.
Here we identify the mechanism that unwinds telomere-loops (t-loops) during mitotic arrest to activate the DNA damage response and signal mitotic stress.

We have great news - our postdocs @MartinaPeritore and @RRJLow have been awarded #MSCA postdoctoral fellowships!! Congratulations 🥳🙌🏾👩🏾🔬👨🏾🔬 Looking forward to the exciting science to come!
1/ A pre-print detailing the most recent effort from our long-standing collaboration with the @makotothayashi2 lab is now live: "A CPC-shelterin-BTR axis regulates mitotic telomere deprotection". biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…
Happy to contribute to this project led by @scoscona and Hilda Pickett when I was @TheCesareLab . Congrats to the first authors, Alex and @sadimaro80 to bring this work to light.
I have recently opened my lab at #CMRI_AUS and am looking for an enthusiastic postdoc to join my team. (Details below.) Please help me with RTs. Thank you!
I am delighted to share our last study on the mechanisms by which EMT tumor cells resist to chemotherapy. Very proud of Maud Debaugnies, the first author ! Thanks also to @JMendez_DNA group which helps us to understand how RHOJ regulates DNA repair.

Our latest results have been published! onl.bz/H2h55Cx In this study, we aimed to explore the function of the RecQ helicase member WRN in mitotic telomere deprotection. Telomere is a protective DNA-protein structure at the end of our chromosomes. (1/4)
I made it to my PhD graduation!👨🎓It was a roller coaster ride (Tracy on maternity leave, COVID lockdown, interesting collaborators and having a sick family member overseas)! Thank you Tracy😊, for being supportive and helped me survive all those stressful times. 😱@PutoczkiLab
