Save pediatric brain cancer research by asking legislators to oppose cuts to the proposed spending bill. These cuts will dramatically change or eradicate pediatric cancer research through the CDMRP. Call your U.S. Representative and ask them to oppose the proposed spending bill.

This data gives me hope: it shows what’s possible when we invest in pediatric cancer research. But continued progress isn’t guaranteed. Pharma has no incentive to focus on rare and childhood cancers. Federal funding is essential to ensure every child has a chance at survival.

Simple question: why does cancer cell death (necrosis) at diagnosis signal more malignant behavior? After all, we kill cancer with chemo/radiation to prolong survival. Textbook: cancer is out of control and outgrows its blood supply. Me: 🤔Skeptical. pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.24…
