Everyoneโs being too harsh here. There has been a significant rise in the cost of components that Steam customer spending ultimately funds, and economic trends have created severe disruptions in the component parts supply chain for megayachts.

He is clearly mocking the management decision of Valve about the price increase of the Steam Deck to gain engagement, while Epic Games under his leadership has faced repeated mismanagements, major layoffs of almost 830 staff in 2023 and over 1000 more in March 2026.
