Today, teams from across #NY19 brought home an incredible four state championships. Congratulations to the @AP_Athletics baseball team, the @softballatAP, the @HCSDWildcats softball team, and the @ChathamCSD softball team on remarkable seasons and well-earned titles.

It was great to visit Bensvue Farms – a third-generation family dairy operation in Lansing, NY! I’m fighting to cut red tape, lower costs, and expand markets to make sure that farmers like Chandler and Aziza can keep making the nutritious products that fuel our families every day.

Career politicians who are more focused on winning their next election than doing right by the folks at home. Policy set by the corporate PACs and whoever’s the highest bidder. Everyone knows it - Washington is corrupt as hell. My Drain the Swamp Act changes things: term limits, a ban on insider trading, and dark money out of our politics for good. It’s time to clean this place up and finally make our country work for working people.

When Washington politicians slashed Medicaid to give billionaires another tax break, they left rural clinics like the Groton Community Health Care Center hanging on by a thread. Today I sat down with the staff at Groton and heard firsthand about the challenges they’re facing as they’re forced to do more with less. I won’t stop fighting to keep healthcare affordable and close to home.

While foreign-owned utility companies like NYSEG & Central Hudson are raking in record profits and sending millions overseas, folks in Upstate New York are rationing medicine and picking up a second job or extra shifts just to keep the lights on. It’s robbery. I pressed @SecretaryWright to join our fight and help BAN foreign corporations from owning American utilities. Your money should stay in your pocket and our community, not line the pockets of executives halfway around the world.

The deck is stacked against working people, and it’s stacked in favor of the corporations and special interests who buy influence with politicians in Washington. For a dairy farmer in Valatie or a family living on Birdsall Street who don’t have armies of lobbyists or corporate PACs, it’s impossible to compete. Our Drain the Swamp Act bans corporate PACs and gets dark money out of politics for good. We’re putting power back where it belongs: with the people. @RepGregLandsman

When workers vote to form a union, they deserve a fair shot at a fair contract — not months or years of corporate delay. That is exactly what my bill with @DonaldNorcross, the Faster Labor Contracts Act, takes on. And it just passed the House. This bill helps workers secure the fair wages, good benefits, and dignity they have earned. A big win for working people in Upstate New York and across the country.

NY-19 is home to some of the best farmers markets in the country. I’m proud that the Farm Bill reauthorizes the Seniors’ Farmers Market Nutrition Program to make sure that everyone in our community has access to nutritious, locally-grown food.

I grew up keeping score at B-Mets games, and it took me years to realize most people eat hot dogs at the ballpark and not spiedies. Tonight I'm taking that 607 pride to the Congressional Baseball Game, where I couldn't be more thrilled to represent @RumblePoniesBB and all of Upstate New York. We're putting partisanship aside and raising money for a great cause. #LetsRumble

There's a direct line between the corruption in Washington and the tough conversations families are having at kitchen tables all across Upstate New York. Soaring utility bills. Healthcare costs out of control. The economy is rigged in favor of powerful special interests who buy politicians to work for them - not you. My Drain the Swamp Act takes on: term limits, a ban on insider trading, and getting corporate money out of politics. It's time to clean this place up once and for all.

The entire Copake community is united in the fight to stop the Shepherd’s Run industrial solar project – and I’m proud to stand with them. I refuse to let a bunch of unelected bureaucrats in Albany overrule our neighbors and hand over beautiful Upstate farmland to out-of-state developers. dailyfreeman.com/2026/06/05/…

I came to Congress to take on the corrupt political establishment and to fix the system that has been rigged against Upstate New York for far too long. I’m excited to introduce the Drain the Swamp Act with @RepGregLandsman to ban corporate PACs, end insider trading, establish term limits, get dark money out of politics, and finally make this place work for working people.
Trump said he would drain the swamp. Instead, he’s been the most corrupt president in American history. So, we’re stepping up with @RepRileyNY – offering Congress and the country the most comprehensive anti-corruption bill ever…the Drain the Swamp Act.

Our district is home to 4,500 farms, one million acres, and nearly 500,000 people living in rural communities. I’ll always put Upstate New York first - and I’ll stand up to anyone from either party who stands in the way. I’m proud to have secured dozens of Upstate priorities in the Farm Bill that recently passed the House. Stay tuned here to learn more about these wins ⬇️

Nothing beats a summer day with the kids by the lake, and there’s nothing worse than showing up to find swimming closed because of harmful algae blooms. With algae levels breaking records on Cayuga Lake, I made sure that this year’s Farm Bill prioritizes research into how we can tackle these blooms and keep our lakes and waterways safe.

If you put your life on the line for our country, you deserve every penny of the benefits you earned. But right now, a Washington loophole is taxing our wounded warriors out of their retirement pay. That’s why I’m fighting to force a vote on the Major Richard Star Act, which would end this “wounded warrior tax” once and for all.

Our families shouldn't have to worry about crumbling rail bridges when they drive down Water or State Street. Norfolk Southern made a promise to the City of Binghamton to make these critical repairs, and it’s time for them to deliver. I'm standing with Senators Gillibrand and Schumer to hold these corporate rail executives accountable and demand they take action now - before someone gets hurt.

Out-of-state corporate developers shouldn’t get to steamroll our small towns and pave over beautiful Upstate farmland. The entire Copake community is united to fight the Shepherd’s Run industrial solar project, but unelected Albany bureaucrats are trying to overrule them and push it through anyway. Not on my watch. I’m glad to get a bipartisan commitment from Ag Secretary Rollins to help me protect Upstate farmland and defend our communities.

Upstate New Yorkers can’t afford to foot the bill for another forever-war in the Middle East while they’re already getting crushed by the cost of groceries, gas, housing, and electricity - and they shouldn’t have to. Bring our troops home. dailyfreeman.com/2026/06/04/…

There’s nothing more Upstate New York than our apples and apple growers, but a severe spring frost has put even iconic operations like Saunderskill Farms in Accord at risk of losing half their crop. If an 11th-generation family farm is feeling the pain, every grower is. That’s why I pressed @SecRollins to approve our request for a disaster declaration and get our farmers the support they deserve.
