Yep, Tesla uses UWB on your phones to track their location. It detect whichever phone is in the driver's position and loads that profile. It's the little things with Tesla ❀️
Replying to @magiicmark95
My stepdad wanted to try, so we switched seats and I just decided to let him use my drivers profile, so he didn’t have to watch the mandatory video, but for some reason the car knew he was not me. I’m impressed by the driver monitoring system although I wish it didn’t exist lol

Australia loves our batteries πŸ”‹βš‘
A new $150 million @Tesla Megapack battery energy storage system has been completed in New South Wales, Australia. It's next to a big solar farm. These batteries will get more renewable energy into the grid and lower bills.

GOOD NEWS πŸ‡―πŸ‡΅ @Tesla is actively recruiting Autonomous Driving Test Drivers in Osaka and Yokohama, signaling an aggressive push to bring FSD to Japan πŸ”₯ This hiring surge directly supports Tesla Japan President Riichi Hashimoto’s goal to launch FSD in the country by the end of 2026 πŸ”₯ Following the recent addition of the Model Y to the local test fleet alongside the Model 3, expanding operations to Osaka and Yokohama proves Tesla is dead serious about this timeline πŸ”₯

Zack is the definition of insanity. He got mad that Elon's impossibly optimistic timeline wasn't met. So he's moved on to believing another CEOs impossibly optimistic timeline. Maybe he will turn to XPeng in 2028?

Baby no.2 has arrived, and we had our first family outing in the Model Y L yesterday ! My wife said it was a game changer having access to BOTH children while driving, because of the 6 seat layout (no middle seat). She was passing snacks to our toddler, and when we parked, she was able to breastfeed our new baby boy from the captains seat comfortably. There is so much space and visibility in the second row, she felt just as comfortable as sitting in the front seat. This car is a HUGE unlock for families.

A couple of things tend to suggest this might be fake unfortunately: Comparing to the NA notes, the blue Self-Driving heading is missing. The text also looks slightly warbled, a telltale of AI modification.

I'm down south this weekend in Bridgetown and just come back from a lovely country drive to Nannup on narrow windy hilly roads and my goodness, the speed control and road positioning of FSD was absolute perfection. It was a real pleasure. I swear previously it was far too slow on those roads and annoyed the crap out of me. Also noticed on the freeway it was no slouch. It was quite happy to follow leading traffic going 120 in a 110. Was still a bit slow in single lane 110 zones though. Perhaps they're testing v14 speed profiles on us at the moment?

First update for Europe FSD?
🚨 Just received the 2026.17.5 update on my Tesla Dolphin. FSD (Supervised) also bumped from v14.2.2.5 to v14.2.2.6. Excited to test the improvements. Who else got it? ⚑ #Tesla #FSD

.@WifeDirtyTesla and I successfully made it from one side of Michigan to the other with with 0 interventions. FSD dealt with heavy rain and even avoided an accident on the way (clip later). Great job for this amazing achievement @Tesla_AI!

Gas spent 20 years owning the evening peak. Batteries took a year to crash the party. That's disruption. Not gradual, but a rapid shift in who supplies grid's most valuable hours. The battle was never about total generation. It was about the peak & batteries are winning it.
