Today the UK has sanctioned 85 individuals and entities involved in the forced deportation, indoctrination and militarisation of Ukrainian children, alongside those driving Russia’s information warfare campaigns.
In some of the toughest action to date, the UK is exposing and combatting hostile Russian activity across multiple fronts, including recent attempts to interfere in Armenian elections.

An honour to join ministers and veterans for the breaking ground of the monument today. We remember those who served in Afghanistan from 🇨🇦 🇬🇧 and so many allies.
Today, we broke ground on the National Monument to Canada’s Mission in Afghanistan. This new space will honour the more than 40,000 Canadians who served and all those who sacrificed and supported the mission.

As we mark the 100th anniversary of the beloved Winnie-the-Pooh stories, The Queen has presented a very special gift to the New York Public Library, reuniting baby Roo with his friends from the 100 Acre Wood.
The Library is home to the original collection of toys owned by Christopher Robin Milne, son of A.A. Milne, which inspired the characters in the beloved Winnie-the-Pooh series. The collection is missing Roo, the baby kangaroo who was lost in an orchard in the 1930s.
The new addition of Roo was created by Shropshire-based company Merrythought, who also created the original toys.
