All forms of non-consensual cutting of children's genitals raise serious child rights concerns, and risk lasting sexual, psychological and physical harm – including death. Religious or cultural tradition should never place a practice beyond scrutiny. jewishnews.co.uk/green-party…

I have critiqued gender ideology and trans extremism until I’m blue in the face. But @sullydish is flat out wrong here. First of all, the nosedive in gay marriage support is not due to trans people.Sexism, antisemitism, transphobia, homophobia are all rising. It’s a mix of the rise of the online right and a breakdown of social norms. It’s simply more socially acceptable to be a bigot today. The right wing is targeting us, but they will not stop with us. They will come for gays next, regardless of if trans people have civil rights. I would argue our end would accelerate that. Secondly, I grow tired of his eagerness to throw trans children on the alter and sacrifice them for gay convenience. We are not gay, we’re something different and more complicated. This does not have to be all of nothing thinking. We can get the right kids the right help, He refuses to acknowledge that trans children fundamentally shatter without access to medicalized transtion. He has to mislead the public as if it’s butchering gay men. I mean this respectfully, but when I did his show, the main thing I was thinking was how his paradigm about transsexuality was bad and highly filtered through his early childhood experiences with sex. Gender ideology has to go, but that doesn’t mean that trans people are not real and don’t deserve medicalized health care. He’s being as extremist as the trans fringe he is critiquing.

The queer threat to gay pride, by Andrew Sullivan (@sullydish) Support for marriage equality from the centre and centre-right is nosediving. Yet, they were growing more tolerant before the queer onslaught. But the Right didn’t invent men-in-women’s-sports or sex changes for children. They just responded to these things being imposed on them by fiat. What the queers are doing, in other words, is snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Which, one suspects, is what they really yearn for. Marriage equality was a huge blow to the queer Left. They hated the idea that gay men and women could just be normies. Where’s the edgy radicalism in that? Read more below ⬇️ buff.ly/m3Zq8oo

Why be against abortion? Think of every person who makes the world worse. Every criminal, every loud, inconsiderate person, every welfare drain. But for abortion, you'd be up to your neck in people like that. Be more grateful.

According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, it takes between 909 and 322,000 (thousand!) circumcisions to prevent 1 case of penile cancer yearly. That means for every case of penile cancer potentially prevented, there would be between 2 to 644 circumcision complications. Not worth it! Source: doi.org/10.1542/peds.2012-19…
This is what the Green Party want to ban.

According to a Trump executive order, male circumcision constitutes "surgical mutilation." The order purports to ban "surgical procedures ... that attempt to alter or remove an individual's sexual organs to minimize or destroy their natural biological functions." Circumcision is a surgical procedure that alters the male sexual organ and minimizes or destroys some of its natural biological functions. So it appears the official position of the @WhiteHouse is that cosmetic childhood circumcision has no place in healthcare.

Demonstrative of the muddled thinking of the anti-surrogacy crowd is the constantly repeated claim that surrogacy is like taking a puppy away from its mother. Surrogacy is like taking a puppy away from one mother, and giving it to another dog who accepts it as her puppy. This technique is called cross-fostering and it's been used for centuries for animal husbandry, conservation and research because it has minimal effects on the animal so long as its new parent cares for it.

*Birth control and abortion This is one of those brutally amoral realities no one likes to discuss - but check the #1 voting priority for every race of women under age 40. It is entirely the ability to prevent and kill ~babies that keeps women competitive with men - boosted by social supports like one-sex welfare and maternity leave.
Birth control is the basis of feminism. Good luck getting all this shit off the ground if you’re forced to carry a pregnancy. I don’t understand how we’ve strayed so far from the plot

Being upset at a woman for choosing to end a pregnancy because of a disability diagnosis in a country without universal healthcare, childcare, reliable public transportation, or livable wages is an INSANE take. And while we’re talking about it, the fetus didn’t know it was aborted. People are acting like they carried to term, gave birth, saw the child had Down syndrome, then decided to chuck it out the window..

If I were pregnant and doctors told me my baby had Down syndrome, I would abort. No amount of social media posts romanticizing profound disability would change my mind. Love is not enough. Caring for a severely disabled child demands far more — resources, support, energy, and resilience most people don’t have. The world is cruelest to those who can’t help themselves. Bringing a child into that reality, knowing the lifelong struggles ahead, isn’t compassion. It’s denial. Women deserve the right to make this deeply personal choice without guilt or judgment. Real motherhood sometimes means the hardest decisions. 💔

Genuinely believing that "all life" is sacred would require supporting total bans on abortion, abortion pills, Plan B, IVF, fertility clinics, mercy care for coma patients, the death penalty, and probably hunting and war. A free citizen is entitled to this position, but perhaps 2% of people actually hold it.
If you are arguing for abortion you are not a Christian. All life is sacred. It’s that simple.

I got a ton of heat for saying if we had a test for transsexuality, I think mothers should have the right to abort. That’s because A. I don’t think a fetus is a person, and I never think mothers should be forced to give birth. But B. I think of transsexuality as a birth defect, one I would not wish on anyone. It’s hard to appreciate the level of developmental damage this causes if you have not experienced it. I have a life I value, but I would never voluntarily choose for another person to endure the suffering, trauma, medicalization, and developmental disruption that I experienced. Even in the ideal situation, someone getting help early and not being forced through male puberty and male socialization - the child is going to end up with significant trauma. The parents that would choose to abort would not get their child that early intervention. You’re essentially signing someone for a lifetime of surgeries, therapy and specialized medical help. All of which are only going to work depending on how badly testosterone screwed them. I have a great life. But I also feel like huge parts of me are missing and cannot be recovered. I would not want any child to have to go through what I did if their parents were unwilling to let them be themselves and get medical help to avoid male puberty.

Some parents do regret having children. This happens a lot more when those kids are disabled. Check out the subreddit r/regretfulparents. Not everybody whose lives have been hijacked by around the clock care are posting on twitter that they're living a happy life

The people who seem to think having a severely disabled child is great are often committed to that belief for ideological reasons. You shouldn’t take advice from them if you don’t share their ideology. Most people consider it a terrible burden.

Pro-lifers have been saying that prenatal tests for Down syndrome are often inaccurate That’s only the initial screening. Once you take the further test it’s basically guaranteed. From ChatGPT: “Amniocentesis with a full chromosome analysis (karyotype or chromosomal microarray): the false-positive rate for Down syndrome is effectively close to 0%. Laboratories generally report accuracy above 99.9%, and a clear finding of trisomy 21 is considered definitive.” Don’t fall for their nonsense.

Is abortion murder? This is the wrong way of looking at it. Everyone agrees killing a kid is worse than killing an old man on his deathbed. The value of life exists on a spectrum. This is why abortion is acceptable, especially with birth defects. richardhanania.com/p/it-does…
