I recently testified about the importance of ICE Detention Centers. Interior Enforcement is key to our national security and to our rule of law. The Biden era is over, President Trump made a promise to the American people and he's keeping his promise .
ICE detention centers are essential for the rule of law. Protecting communities from illegal aliens with no regard for our laws shouldn't be controversial. Watch former ICE official and US Army veteran Scott Merchkowski detail the importance of the work ICE accomplishes ⬇️

We don’t need more promises on mass deportation. We need results. Deport ALL illegal aliens. Mandate e-Verify. De-bank illegal transactions. End taxpayer-funded incentives. President Trump needs fighters in Congress who will accelerate the agenda—not just talk about it.

A federal judge has found former New York City Comptroller Brad Lander not guilty of obstructing an elevator at 26 Federal Plaza in a bench trial over his arrest at the city's immigration court last fall. . . . . . Lander was arrested and issued a citation on Sept. 18. Prosecutors accused Lander of causing a disturbance on federal property by allegedly intentionally blocking an elevator and ignoring warnings to move. Lander's defense argued he and the other elected officials were there "to inspect condition of ICE holding cells. They did not go to block a means of access or obstruct ICE agents." The judge sided with the defense, noting the group sat on the floor for more than 20 minutes without any officers telling them to move, and when they did tell them to move, warnings only lasted 30 seconds. [Ed. So they were warned and they refused to move. 30 seconds is sufficient time to demonstrate that they didn't intend to budge.] cbsnews.com/newyork/news/bra…

🚨🚨🚨 THE LEGAL REALITY ON THE DHS VOTING MEMO Critics are calling it lawless. It isn’t. Here’s why it stands. The memo doesn’t rest on the election executive order that courts have been gutting. That order got hit with permanent injunctions on the registration and funding pieces. None of that touches this. The memo points lawyers at removal grounds that have been in the law since 1996 and at BIA precedent that’s already binding in every immigration court. Voting as a noncitizen. Falsely claiming to be a citizen. Both are deportable. No conviction needed. Settled law, not a new theory. The only real fights are at the edges. Did the person actually vote. Did they make the claim. Narrow good faith exceptions for people who genuinely believed they were citizens. That’s it. The core is solid. This isn’t the government inventing power. It’s the government finally using power it already had. @Phase2Deport @NICEnforcement

A senator who isn’t even on the ballot just sent a 15-paragraph letter crying about a “circular firing squad” because Tuberville named the four Republicans blocking the SAVE Act. Here’s a thought. If you don’t want to be named for killing proof-of-citizenship voting, stop killing it.
I've obtained Sen. Thom Tillis's Monday email to his GOP colleagues. In it, he complains about the DOJ's anti-weaponization fund, whines about the SAVE America Act & President Trump's constant push for it, and attacks Sen. Tommy Tuberville for calling out Republicans by name. Here it is, in full: Colleagues, I hope you all have had an opportunity to get some rest after another vote-a-rama.  I’m sure most of you would prefer to move forward, but I believe we will look back at this experience as yet another reason why we will have historic headwinds against us in November. We missed an opportunity to remove a political albatross (the 1776 Fund) from around the necks of our colleagues who are in cycle. Instead, we added weight to that albatross by having 41 members vote to protect the program.  In addition, we allowed two SAVE Act votes that had no place in vote-a-rama, which prompted a circular firing squad led by Tommy Tuberville and some of our republican colleagues. I cannot understand why a supermajority of our conference voted against the side-by-side I offered.  I went forward with offering the amendment at the request of members in cycle. The amendment simply ended the 1776 payout pot AND appropriated $1.7 BILLION to the DoJ fraud initiative. I knew most democrats would not vote for my amendment because of the DoJ funding, but I thought it would be a good landing place for members to voice their concerns with the 1776 fund. How did I know democrats would vote AGAINST it? I asked them. They simply would not support the DoJ/Fraud funding, which is precisely why I had the provision in the amendment.  The chance of this amendment passing and threatening the privilege of the underlying bill was ZERO. If you voted against my amendment because you were afraid it would strip the reconciliation bill of privilege, you were misinformed or a victim of groupthink.  If you did for that reason, you should have voted against the SAVE Act for the same reason. Had either version of the SAVE Act been adopted, the underlying bill would also have been at risk of losing privilege. We took a major risk with the SAVE Act had democrats wanted to meddle. If I had been a democratic leader, I would have convinced a sufficient number of democrats to vote for it, and, immediately after it was adopted, I would have argued it was fatal to the privilege of the underlying bill. But the real problem I have is that the President (and a few of our members?) forced us to take two more unsuccessful votes for the SAVE Act at the expense of our most vulnerable members in cycle. Susan Collins rightfully voted against it, representing her home state of Maine, which voted against it by nearly a 65/35 margin in a 2025 referendum. Rural state senators voted for it, but now they must explain why shutting down mail-in ballots, ending early voting,  and complicating registration is a good thing for rural voters in big states. Other members will need to account for their past positions in support of the state laws that would be repealed or preempted if the SAVE Act passes. Even worse, Tommy Tuberville and others initiated a circular firing squad calling out Susan Collins and other republicans by name.  Amazing: Members NOT in cycle attacking our most at-risk member because she supports the view of 65% of the voters in her state. Tommy Tuberville said: “It was beyond EMBARRASSING that “Republicans” continue to block the SAVE America Act @SenThomTillis, @LisaMurkowski, @SenMcConnell, and @SenatorCollins have not only betrayed their constituents – they are ACCOMPLICES in Democrats’ “Illegals First” agenda. The people of North Carolina, Alaska, Kentucky, and Maine deserve better.” I find this remarkable on several levels, but you would think a member of Tommy’s comms team who has a spouse working on the NRSC’s leadership team could see how this is only helpful to Susan’s opponent.  Do these people talk?  Other members have referred to those who oppose nuking the filibuster and passing the SAVE Act as “traitors” and “defectors” on social media. Everyone knew the SAVE Act votes would fail, yet we went ahead anyway because the President requested them at the expense of our members.  This simply prompted more attacks on our own, which I assume was the President's goal. Three of our most vulnerable members were already forced to vote on the first Schumer amendment, focused on the 1776 fund and the motion to commit.  Cassidy and I voted against it to give our members room to vote for it. After that vote, I informed the most vulnerable in-cycle members that I would vote however a majority of them wanted me to.  If it meant voting with them or, like the Schumer amendment, against them, I offered them my proxy for the night.  I am not suggesting that you give members your proxy, but I am suggesting forcing votes that have no upside for in-cycle members AND attacking them when they vote is not helpful to saving our majority.  I get in Tuberville’s case it was likely to help boost him in the Alabama governor’s race, but was it really worth calling Susan Collins an “embarrassing accomplice who betrayed her constituents?” Based on last week’s reconciliation experience, I hope we have learned a lesson that will not be repeated if we choose to move another reconciliation bill in this congress. In my opinion, last week’s vote was a net loss for in-cycle members. I am not diminishing the importance of funding DHS, but the “gain” from that will not offset the “pain” we’ve created in key races. The road to holding our majority is already difficult.  We cannot afford any more unforced errors like this between now and November. Respectfully,  Thom T.

She means, if we want more illegals let’s pass the Dignidad Act
.@RepMariaSalazar: “If we want more homes, lower costs, and a stronger American Dream, we need the workers who build America's homes. The DIGNITY Act [amnesty] is how we get there: securing our borders, stabilizing our workforce, and restoring the promise of homeownership for the working families who have earned it." Seriously, she actually said that.

The hypocrisy knows no bounds! ICE transferred more than 448,000 unaccompanied children to HHS between FY 2019 and 2023. Of those, at least 32,000 were issued court dates but failed to appear for their immigration hearings, and ICE could no longer account for them. Separately, more than 291,000 unaccompanied children had not been issued Notices to Appear in immigration court as of May 2024 , meaning the system never even started tracking them. 323k missing , unaccounted for and not a peep for the party of concern ! And furthermore your post is misleading , they’ve been reunited
More than 6,200 children have been taken by ICE since Trump took office. The parents of at least 27,000 children have been ripped from their families. And this week, House Republicans want to hand ICE $70B more to carry out this cruel assault on our communities.

AILA’s victory lap (Temp) over this $100,000 H-1B fee isn’t about teachers, researchers, rural doctors, clergy, and innovators. It’s a self-serving victory for the immigration lawyer cartel, they represent a trade association whose 15,000 members rake in millions annually from the very program they defend. This post is purely self serving and dressed up as economic patriotism, while American workers get the shaft, rip the mask off. @iaproject @Phase2Deport @NICEnforcement #endH1Bfraud
Today’s ruling confirms what AILA has said all along: turning the H-1B program into a pay to play system through a $100K fee is unlawful. Policies that shut out teachers, researchers, rural doctors, clergy, & innovators undermine our economy & communities. reuters.com/world/trumps-100…

We’re looking forward to the appeal. Unlike you, we’re fighting for Americans and working to get Congress to stop allowing employers to replace them with cheaper foreign labor.
We won our case against the Trump administration for trying to destroy the H-1B visa program. Thousands with these visas serve New Yorkers as doctors, teachers, and other skilled workers. I'll keep fighting to protect them and our immigrant communities. reuters.com/world/trumps-100…

I’m not surprised you would say something like this, @GovSherrillNJ. On June 8th, I personally granted you access to the facility as an act of good faith— despite you having exactly ZERO federal oversight authority. Of course, you’re still trying to turn Delaney Hall into a political football for the radical left. You were told BEFORE you went in you would not have the ability to speak to detainees. This is a federal facility, Governor. You are NOT federally elected. I suggest you and your health inspectors spend more time at your New Jersey state detention facilities. Delaney Hall has 2x more medical personnel per detainee than NJ state prison, and at least 2x as much square footage. Detainees are also 2x more likely to die in NJ state custody. ⬇️
After being denied access for weeks, I was finally allowed into Delaney Hall – but what I received was a closely controlled and limited tour of the facility. That is unacceptable. I was not allowed to meet or speak directly with the detainees, which continues to raise serious questions about the real conditions of the facility and the treatment of those held there. I will continue to push to speak with the detainees directly. They deserve to be heard and the public deserves answers.

🚨Los Angeles Election Fraud Caught on Hidden Camera LA election petitioners were caught on tape giving homeless individuals other voters' information, instructing them to forge voter names and signatures, and offering cash and drugs as incentives to register to vote.
CALIFORNIA ELECTIONS FRAUD CASH FOR BALLOTS PART I: Homeless Bribed with Cash & Drugs In Exchange For Registering To Vote & Signing Election Petitions Caught On Tape Undercover On Skid Row In California. “You can just put Pinocchio Lane.” California NGOs Encourage Fake Addresses To Homeless People To Sign Petitions & Register Voters, A State & Federal Felony. Footage Shows 28 Instances Of Cash Changing Hands For Ballot Signatures & Voter Registration Forms. Many of the petitioners had no understanding of the petitions’ purpose they were advertising. Circulators also instructed individuals to use fake addresses. “Oh, you can just fake an address.” Weingart Center, which received hundreds of millions in public funding, is on tape directing people to where the fraudulent petitioners are located, and directing homeless individuals to petitioners & coaching plausible deniability. “See they say ignorance is no excuse for the law. But a lot of times, I have to say ‘I didn’t know, I had no idea.’” We encountered 28 instances of petitioners offering cash, cigarettes, and marijuana for signatures on petitions. Weingart employees advised: “See they say ignorance is no excuse for the law. But a lot of times, I have to say ‘I didn’t know, I had no idea.’” All happening outside taxpayer-funded housing organizations. Weingart CEO earned $432,000 before resigning from the Los Angeles County Affordable Housing Solutions Agency. James O’Keefe and the OMG Team went undercover on Skid Row, posing as homeless individuals. On hidden cameras, petitioners admitted they are paid $7–$10 per signature, sometimes earning $1,000 or more per day, collecting signatures from individuals with minimal knowledge of what they were signing. “$7 a signature, $5 a signature, $10 a signature.” “We gon’ give you $2.” Populus Inc., a political consulting firm, was circulating petitions funded by @Uber, @Delta, @United, and the American Hotel & Lodging Association (@AHLA). On camera, one petitioner said, “We have one that taxes billionaires 5%. One-time tax. 5% and that’s gonna go towards healthcare.” Other petitions sought to overturn LA’s $30 minimum wage for hotel and airline workers. Paying per signature and encouraging fake addresses violates federal and state election law and is proof of fraud happening in California. Weingart employees were caught directing the homeless to the location of the petitioners and coaching them on plausible deniability. Intake coordinator Jason Warren told an undercover journalist exactly where and when to find them: “Most time they be right across the street, under that tree… Monday through Friday.” In 2016, nine individuals were arrested on Skid Row for exchanging cash and cigarettes for signatures; in 2019 they were charged on 14 counts under the exact same California Elections Code section. Yet when confronted, nearby LAPD officers dismissed the activity as “a civil lawsuit.” “Paying per signature violates state election law and is evidence of election fraud in California,” the investigation concludes. On Skid Row, we captured conduct on tape that violates Federal Law 52 U.S. Code §10307 and state law California Election Code §18603.
