Constitution Pipeline would deliver affordable, durable natural gas from Pennsylvania, through New York, and on to millions of New Englanders who desperately need it and have been relying on foreign energy sources and higher prices. Bizarrely, NY Governor Kathy Hochul has been yet again rejecting basic common sense and blocking this vital project. The pipeline is so critical for the region to get built!

I’ve had productive conversations with Republicans and Democrats alike – I’ll work with anyone who wants to do something real. The only way to lower prices in the long-term is to unshackle our producers across ALL energy sources with meaningful permitting reform.
New: Inside the first listening session of House Democrats' gas/utility prices working group. Dems are debating what end product will look like. Unclear if they release a bill on energy affordability before midterms, or put out something w/ less detail subscriber.politicopro.com/a…

America’s permitting problems aren’t just impeding growth here in the States. It impacts international relationships and energy supplies. I had a great discussion on this with the UK’s Permanent Secretary for the Department for Energy and Net Zero.

Don’t miss our @Poli_Climate episode with Senator Armstrong! Listen here: politicalclimatepodcast.com/…
I know that meaningful permitting reform will help grow ALL forms of energy and put America back on the path to becoming energy dominant on the world stage. Thank you to the @atlanticcouncil and @CEBAPower’s @powellrich for a great conversation!

.@SenArmstrong on how industry leaders can help to advance permitting reform: “People really need to get loud about this,” he tells @powellrich. “We have a very, very narrow window of opportunity here to get this done,” he adds.

.@SenArmstrong says meaningful permitting reform still faces political and procedural hurdles in Congress. But he remains optimistic, noting that the House “has done a lot” on permitting reform and “they really want to see it done.” #ACEnergyForum #GEF2026

An important conversation on permitting reform at the @AtlanticCouncil Global Energy Forum. @powellrich moderated a discussion with @SenArmstrong who is passionate about siting and transmission. The time is now to pass tech-neutral permitting forum for all infrastructure.

On permitting reform: Let’s not pursue reforms that only fix permitting for pipes and wires, says @SenArmstrong. Let’s make sure that all the infrastructure we need to meet growing demand is addressed, he tells @powellrich.

This morning, I joined @RepScottPeters & @ChrisBarnardDL at the Energy Imperatives Summit for a bicameral, bipartisan chat on the dangers our nation will face in the coming years if we do not fix our permitting process. The only long-term solution to rising energy costs is for America to build again.

There is a growing recognition regarding how critical permitting reform is for our national security. Permitting reform demands “a fundamental change in mindset of how, and why, government places so many obstacles in the way of the rapid expansion and rebuilding of our defense industrial base."foxnews.com/opinion/sen-kevi…

Thankful for allies like @ChrisBarnardDL @RepScottPeters and @Sen_JoeManchin!
A Republican, a Democrat, and an Independent walk into a bar… … and (hopefully) walk out with a bipartisan permitting reform deal 🍻

There is no comparison – states like Oklahoma are always going to have cheaper energy than states like California because our policies support it. When states make it harder to build critical infrastructure, prices only go up.

We need to get out of our own way and get back to building again. Had a great conversation with @bloombergTV yesterday. Let’s get this done!

Regional Administrator Mason and Senator Armstrong @SenArmstrong joined @EPA Administrator Zeldin @EPALeeZeldin for a roundtable at a farm in Oklahoma to talk about issues important to the agriculture community, following the law, and #PoweringtheGreatAmericanComeback. As Mason said, it’s about listening to people, hearing their concerns, and then delivering on them. #EPARegion6 #CooperativeFederalism

One of the chief blockades to new builds is Section 401 of the Clean Water Act, which allows a single state to halt federally approved energy projects that serve the entire country. Our permitting process desperately needs this reformed. I talked about all this and more with @AlexEpstein on the Power Hour Podcast this week: youtube.com/watch?v=1dnLnZOg…

I agree with @SenKevinCramer – the time is now! Great to see growing bipartisan support in Congress to get this done.
This is the moment for permitting reform. As a former energy regulator for nearly 10 years, I’ve seen how broken the process can be. Now there’s bipartisan support to fix it.
