It was an honor to meet with Sarah Quigley, Consul General of @CanCGDenver, Brad Dubeau of Alberta Beef Producers, and Erin Karney Spaur of the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association. Colorado’s ranchers and cattle producers are among the best in the world.

🏆Congratulations to @SenSimpsonCO and @SenRodPelton on being recognized by @CO_MentalHealth for their commitment to improving mental health outcomes across Colorado. Senator Simpson received the 2026 Continuing Champion Award for his enduring dedication to the health and well-being of Coloradans. Senator Rod Pelton was recognized for sponsoring legislation that expands access to mental health services, particularly in rural communities where counselors, therapists, and psychiatrists are often in short supply. Colorado Senate Republicans remain committed to supporting the mental health needs of our children, families, and communities. Mental health matters. This past weekend, I had the opportunity to visit the Four Corners Monument. I have the unique opportunity and privilege of representing the people who live farthest from the Capitol, and I want to reaffirm my commitment to always bring your voices with me to the Capitol.

Our fearless Assistant Minority Leader @LisaFrizellSD2 stood strong during the 2026 legislative session. While Democrats were cutting funds for some of our most vulnerable communities, she successfully fought to amend the budget and secure important funding to help protect our disabled Americans. Like, share, and comment if you support our most vulnerable citizens, just as Senator Frizell does. #WrappeUp2026

focused on growing government and adding surcharges that are not making Colorado safer or more affordable for working families. I appreciated the opportunity to speak honestly with the community about where our state is today and why.

I am all about efficiency, and that’s why SB26-136, a bill I sponsored that eliminates unnecessary regulation and holds executive agencies accountable, was signed into law today. I will continue posting key updates for my constituents and all of Colorado in the coming days.

Today, on the 75th National Day of Prayer, we pause to give thanks for the blessings of faith, family, freedom, and the greatest nation on Earth. America was founded on the principle that our rights come from God, not government, and we must never lose sight of that truth. God bless our families, God bless Colorado, and God bless the United States of America.

As we approached the end of the session, I requested my colleagues to join in this resolution for #ALS #AwarenessMonth, while ALS remains incurable, the landscape is dramatically different today than when my mom passed away in the early 1990s. For families who lost loved one this
