One of the greatest summaries of how our own government is hurting us instead of protecting us.
Written by the late, great Charley Reese: Tax his land, Tax his bed, Tax the table, At which he's fed. Tax his tractor, Tax his mule, Teach him taxes Are the rule. Tax his work, Tax his pay, He works for peanuts anyway! Tax his cow, Tax his goat, Tax his pants, Tax his coat. Tax his ties, Tax his shirt, Tax his work, Tax his dirt. Tax his tobacco, Tax his drink, Tax him if he Tries to think. Tax his cigars, Tax his beers, If he cries Tax his tears. Tax his car, Tax his gas, Find other ways To tax his ass. Tax all he has Then let him know That you won't be done Till he has no dough. When he screams and hollers; Then tax him some more, Tax him till He's good and sore. Then tax his coffin, Tax his grave, Tax the sod in Which he's laid... Put these words Upon his tomb, 'Taxes drove me to my doom...' When he's gone, Do not relax, Its time to apply The inheritance tax. Accounts Receivable Tax Building Permit Tax CDL license Tax Cigarette Tax Corporate Income Tax Dog License Tax Excise Taxes Federal Income Tax Federal Unemployment Tax (FUTA) Fishing License Tax Food License Tax Fuel Permit Tax Gasoline Tax (currently 44.75 cents per gallon) Gross Receipts Tax Hunting License Tax Inheritance Tax Inventory Tax IRS Interest Charges IRS Penalties (tax on top of tax) Liquor Tax Luxury Taxes Marriage License Tax Medicare Tax Personal Property Tax Property Tax Real Estate Tax Service Charge Tax Social Security Tax Road Usage Tax Recreational Vehicle Tax Sales Tax School Tax State Income Tax State Unemployment Tax (SUTA) Telephone Federal Excise Tax Telephone Federal Universal Service Fee Tax Telephone Federal, State and Local Surcharge Taxes Telephone Minimum Usage Surcharge Tax Telephone Recurring and Nonrecurring Charges Tax Telephone State and Local Tax Telephone Usage Charge Tax Utility Taxes Vehicle License Registration Tax Vehicle Sales Tax Watercraft Registration Tax Well Permit Tax Workers Compensation Tax Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, & our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids. What in the heck happened? Can you spell 'politicians?'” CORRUPT CRIMINALS. I can’t believe what they have done to us…🤬🤬🤬

Natives need to bear firmly in mind that if the demographics of this nation wildly vary from the traditional white majority, it won't be some great development for us. It will be the opposite. We share a history with the whites, good and bad, but it's behind us now. The whites like and admire us, and as little as some of us want to admit it, they have helped us enormously. The newcomers don't give a damn about us. We have no history with Pakistanis or Afghans or whoever. They are coming to conquer, that's it. If we don't stand with the whites, we will fall together. It's that simple.

Somalis rank among the most welfare-dependent groups in the United States, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. Six countries. Same result. Every single time. This is a pattern, and American taxpayers are paying for it. 81% of Somali immigrant households receive welfare. Even after being in the US for 10 years or longer, 78% are still on welfare. For native households, that number is 21%. They aren’t living the American dream. They are getting free stuff. And we are all paying for it. Moreover, mass Somali immigration is making our communities less safe. According to researchers writing in City Journal, Somali immigrant men have an incarceration rate more than twice that of men born in the United States. An immigration system that endangers our own people is one that needs thorough reform. Last week, my Task Force held its first hearing on Ohio’s Medicaid fraud scandal. I asked a Democrat State Senator one question: “Has Somali immigration been good for Ohio?” She said my question almost brought her to tears because of the hateful rhetoric. Democrats don’t have an argument against the facts, so they attack the people who find them. Luke Rosiak testified that 100% of the suspect Medicaid fraud companies he investigated had Somali, Bhutanese, or other African origin names. 100%. The facts are clear: mass Somali immigration has been a catastrophic failure for American taxpayers, American communities, and American safety. That is exactly why I introduced legislation to ban immigration from Somalia.

Good perspective. We are blessed beyond measure and it is NOT because of progressive liberal policies that disagree with capitalism. She realizes that Fourbucks Coffee and those able to pay for it is what enables everyone to have the fancy cup and place to drink it.
This article was written by a 26 yr old college student by the name of Alyssa Ahlgren, who's in grad school for her MBA. What a GREAT perspecitve..👍🏽 My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us! I'm sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to "fix" the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around. I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook's, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we've become completely blind to it. Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don't give them a second thought. We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!! Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ?? Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, "An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity." Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in. When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I've ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided. My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let's just say I didn't have the popular opinion, but I digress. Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country. People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they've never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism. Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn't live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn't see the rise and fall of socialism and communism. We don't know what it's like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don't have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it's spreading like a plague."

Watch how Charlie Kirk engages with a college liberal who says life begins when a baby exits the mother’s womb. He didn’t yell. He didn’t call her names. Instead, he asked her a series of critical questions until her argument completely fell apart. KIRK: “We know deep down it’s wrong to murder a baby.” STUDENT: “You’re not murdering a baby. It’s not a baby.” KIRK: “What is it then?” STUDENT: “It is an embryo, which is not a baby.” KIRK: “So at what point does it become a baby?” STUDENT: “When it is born.” [Crowd groans] STUDENT: “I don’t agree with abortions up to full-term abortions.” KIRK: “Hold on. But you said it becomes a baby when it’s born. Then why would you have abortion limits before it’s born? I thought it’s just an embryo. So embryo rights?” STUDENT: “No, embryo rights aren’t a thing.” KIRK: “But then where would you draw a line for abortion then? And why? And under what moral standard?” STUDENT: “There are medical reasons.” KIRK: “No, that’s not the question.” STUDENT: “You just asked me why would I not have an abortion full term. For medical reasons.” KIRK: “Okay, so at 29 weeks, the baby is nearly fully developed, can recognize the mother’s voice, has a heartbeat, has brainwaves. Is it okay to abort that baby?” STUDENT: “It’s not okay… I don’t understand what you’re trying to say. It’s not okay to have an abortion ever? How about like three weeks in?” KIRK: “Correct. No abortion. Correct.” STUDENT: “Why?” KIRK: “Well, because your life started at conception.” STUDENT: “It did not, though.” KIRK: “Well, hold on. So let’s play this out. So who are you as an individual? From your skin color to your eye color, to your likes, your dislikes, from your temperament to your everything.” STUDENT: “I am not an embryo. I’m a person.” KIRK: “Hold on a second. But it started with something called deoxyribonucleic acid. And your own individual DNA started at the point of egg and sperm meeting. That’s where your journey started. And so from that point in particular, life begins not at birth, not at first words, not at first steps, but when your DNA [developed], which is who you actually are… That doesn’t happen at eight weeks or 10 weeks. It happens at conception.” STUDENT: “What happens if you need a medical abortion? If the mother will die if she does not get an abortion? What’s your stance on that?” KIRK: “The only place where medical abortion is necessary is before 20 weeks, which is incredibly rare.” STUDENT: “What if she will die? What if the mother will die?” KIRK: “This is a very important question. Let’s say it’s 27 weeks, okay? And the mother will die… Why don’t we just have the baby delivered by cesarean section? You know what a cesarean section is, right?” STUDENT: “A C-section.” KIRK: “Why wouldn’t we just put the baby up by C-section instead of terminating it?” STUDENT: “Because if the mother will die, it’s not safe to do that.” KIRK: “But it’s actually safer than an abortion. So every time they say… ‘Oh, you need to have abortion for medical reasons.’ Respond, ‘then have a C-section.’” STUDENT: “What if you’re not able to have a C-section? What if you are on your deathbed? You need to have an abortion right now?” KIRK: “First and foremost, C-section is safer, C-section is quicker. And a C-section saves both lives.” [Crowd erupts]

This is great! Education changes everything! Let me be more clear…. TRUTH CHANGES EVERYTHING!
This is HUGE. According to Gallup, the percentage of Americans who say abortion is morally acceptable has dropped from 54% in 2024 to 49% today. That's a cultural shift happening in real time. I am not surprised, though. This is the result of our hard work at @studentsforlife and our 1700 student groups nationwide. We've seen it at the National Pro-Life March and our National Pro-Life Summit, where the crowds keep growing and getting younger. We've seen it in the millions of conversations the Pro-Life Generation has had with their peers about the humanity of the preborn. Young people are rejecting the lies of the abortion industry and embracing the truth that every human life has value. I'm incredibly proud of the work being done by Students for Life and Students for Life Action to build a culture where abortion becomes not just illegal, but unthinkable. Keep going. Hearts are changing. Minds are changing. And the culture is changing too! Read the full article at the link in the comments.

This is the way! Learn how to work with your hands!
I teach auto shop at a small high school. We work on students cars, teachers cars, students parents cars and some community people cars. We only charge for parts and not labor, so we saved some people a lot of money last school year. This last school year we did 126 oil changes, 68 brake jobs, 85 alignments, 4 steering racks, 22 tune ups, 32 struts, 20 shock absorbers, 4 transfer cases, mounted and balanced 82 new tires, 4 timing chains, 15 valve cover gaskets, 14 thermostats, 4 radiators, 12 in tank fuel pumps, 8 EVAP canisters, 6 exhaust manifolds, 4 mufflers, 15 AC repairs including evacuate and recharge, 8 alternators, 22 batteries, 9 starters and so much more! Proud of those students I am!

For years, hospitals kept Americans in the dark about the true cost of care. Families made medical decisions without knowing the price—and too often got hit with bills that drained their savings. That ends now. Under President Trump’s leadership, HHS is enforcing hospital price transparency with real consequences. @DrOzCMS and I have a simple message for hospitals: Post your actual prices. Come into compliance immediately—or face serious consequences.

Okay this is genuinely insane. SpaceX just unveiled a satellite whose only job is to run AI. Not internet. Not GPS. Just compute, floating in orbit. It's called AI1, and the reason behind it breaks your brain. AI data centers on Earth are hitting a wall, not a chip wall, a physics wall. They need staggering amounts of power and water just to stay cool, and we're running out of grid and land to build them. So Musk's answer is: stop building them on Earth. In orbit, the sun never sets. Free power, 24/7. No water for cooling, you just radiate heat into the vacuum of space. The two things choking AI on the ground barely exist up there. And here's the wild part: Musk says it's easier to build than a Starlink satellite. Strip out the complex antennas and it's "a lot of solar cells, a radiator, and some laser links." One AI1 carries the compute of an Nvidia GB300 rack, the same hardware data centers fight over down here. AI1 is just the first one. The plan is a constellation of up to a million of them. And the timing isn't an accident, SpaceX goes public this week at a ~$1.75 trillion target. This isn't a rocket company anymore. It's positioning itself as the power grid for AI, in space. The race for AI compute just left the planet. Literally. @SpaceX
