This is up there as 1 of the most proud moments of my career as a medical educator 🫶🏼 I taught Dewi as an F1 on our Teaching Skills 4 Drs course. He’s been running the course for a year and now this #SoProud of you Doc & always knew you were a good egg.. well do done!

Especially senior medics.. it starts with less infantilising, making trainees feel valued and fighting their corner not criticising.. enough of that “in my day” rhetoric.. Gen Z Docs are awesome so let’s tell them they are and maybe they’ll stay

Unsurprisingly lots of F3, more than one has said “leave medicine” and another “get out asap”! How sad 😥
It’s not easy but it’s so rewarding and autonomy increases post F2 guys🙌🫶 #StickWithMedicine
