I put my entire life into Cardano. My time, my expertise, my savings. I’ve literally gone all in, and for over 5 years now. No salary for 3 years, along with my co founder, and every payroll was paid on time. This isn’t meant as a guilt trip just context towards my reality. I forced my cofounders to envelope the ‘entrepreneur mindset’ and make sacrifices to make our vision of Anvil work. I thought we were in good company in Cardano. A bunch of scrappy, smart people who are building the future financial rails of the world. Unfortunately, not everyone was living like starving entrepreneurs and looted our community/treasury while keeping cushy salaries. Now the price is in the teens…and we can’t even get contracts on Cardano to sustain our business, with no indication that change is coming, all community business proposals are not passing atm. I gave up my 30s for this. I had a great career trajectory making solid money. I don’t regret the decision I just wish it went different. Believe it or not, we didn’t make many stupid decisions, we were responsible with salaries, and ran very lean operations. Did we fail? Or did Cardano fail to flourish and create real opportunity? I bought Ada, I believed in the token. I dropped my 401k on it. Held it religiously for 5 years, all to sell at .16 so I don’t lose my house? It’s insane lol was I supposed to sell on everyone’s heads? I thought being a believer was the whole point now I just feel like a sheep. I don’t even have the 100k Ada required anymore to go straight to the treasury. The only thing I can think of that hurt worse were my kidney stones. This is the most defeated I have felt in a long time. And now I’m watching 8 months of hard work and relationship building get thrown away. Can’t get a hold of half the DReps otherwise you come off as annoying. Didn’t do a Japan tour? Good luck! I had to waste 6 days explaining to one of our top DReps why the product needs Cardano. He basically said we didn’t need to use blockchain or cardano. Instead of explaining the value we create I gotta convince our top DReps why a project chose to build on Cardano? 🤯 Im not perfect but I damn sure tried to be! Answered everyone promptly, reached out to DReps, and did our best to listen/apply feedback. I show up everyday. Can someone explain to me why I should keep trying to build here? I’ve legit lost everything but my wife who isn’t getting any happier with me. Today is the first day I work towards getting my life back. IDK exactly what that means but I’m done feeling like this for nothing.

Privacy works best with UTXOs. Intents work best with UTXOs. Formal verification works best with UTXOs. There has quite literally never been a better time to be a UTXO chain

$ADA If #Cardano is really dead, why does someone show up almost every day to explain that it’s dead? Think about that for a moment. People don’t run campaigns against irrelevant things. They don’t write threads. They don’t make videos. They don’t spend years talking about them. If something truly no longer matters, the market simply forgets it.

REPOST but to Cardano: Dear @Cardano, we have been in deep discussion with @IOHK_Charles and how recent price declines will impact their budgeting needs / ability to deliver on IO proposals. Combine that with my sincere belief that we do require more structured leadership (in conjunction with constructive community involvement); @emurgo_io will shift to a "Yes" vote for IOR. We are at an existential moment for @Cardano where actions we take now will reverberate through our ecosystem. Also make no mistake, that every chain, is facing the same decision. EMURGO believes the following: 1. Leadership: At this time, I believe need an executive function that is led by Charles @IOHK_Charles, Fred @F_Gregaard and myself @phillip_pon alongside Jack @JBriggsLondon at Intersect. The community will and must be involved. 2. Infrastructure: We need to fund infrastructure and @IOGroup and some specific protocols / projects remain best positioned to ensure core needs are met. @Cardano_CF also does work on these matters, alongside @IntersectMBO. @emurgo_io maintains libraries that are used by nearly all Cardano projects. 3. Commercial: Investments must also be prioritised but we must also accept that most will fail. It is the nature of early stage investment but we must try to create a thriving ecosystem that embraces a multi-chain future. Strike offers other chains too. @LayerZero_Core is essential to this strategy as are @circle, @PythNetwork , @DuneAnaIytics and @FireblocksHQ. 4. Marketing & Branding: Web3 is fighting for attention in the age of AI. @Cardano has a unique opportunity to rise above the fray alongside @MidnightNtwrk @F_ZK_Now. Having said that, I am not a proponent of parties, happy hours, or 'free drinks'. Marketing & Branding are serious efforts that need to be led by serious people. I was recently at a dinner with a VC, Regulator, Market Maker, and prominent project where more was done to advance Cardano's relevance than a glad handing party of the usual faces. @emurgo_io will support serious Marketing and Branding efforts. There is a lot more I want to say but I want to call upon all DRep to vote "Yes" to the IOR proposal and for those who have abstained or voted "No" to reconsider. Price has changed, therefore, the value & importance of the proposal has increased.

Sadly, it's true. Amazon has elected not to move forward with the new Stargate series. There's not much I can add beyond confirming what's happened. But I will say this... Creator Martin Gero developed a new Stargate series over two years, ultimately crafting a show that offered a fresh jumping-on point for new viewers while deeply respecting existing canon. It was a series that avoided the pitfalls of several modern remakes and reboots by fully embracing the core of its predecessors: action, adventure, exploration, wonder, heart, humor, and found family. And based on that creative vision, the new Stargate series was greenlit in November of 2025. As of today, officially, that original vision is no more. We'll never get the opportunity to introduce you to that world and those characters - or reintroduce you to, and check in with, some familiar faces from the past. My heart breaks. For the incredibly talented writers who worked tirelessly to bring this show to life. For Martin who maintained an unwavering positive outlook throughout despite the challenges, and who always strove to make a show that would honor the fans while welcoming a new audiences. And for the long-suffering Stargate fandom who waited so long and came so close to getting a show they truly would have loved.

Adding $ADA here, will add more if it dips another 10-15%. To increase the liquidity of our $ADA / $IAG pool $IAG enterprise revenue surplus is looking good NFA

Very nice to see some real data. I'll add a few points in case it's helpful. The SLP has historically been in the green for liquidity providers since inception, however even if it were to break even - all added liquidity is a huge net positive for Cardano's growth. I trade on Strike very often and have voiced my feedback to the team that there is simply not enough liquidity on the platform for larger trades. Instead of doing 100 tx's a week which I do now, I would be doing 500 a week just myself personally, if there were more liquidity. At current liquidity levels, if I want to go long on $BTC or $ADA, the slippage is good for small trades but it's simply too high for larger trades. So only the small trades I want to do, happen on Strike. We are directly sending traders to competing platforms on other chains due to low liquidity. I am confident that with more liquidity regardless of the amount of profit that liquidity generates, would result in many more tx's settling on Cardano which results in more fees for the treasury - and in the end that should be our goal as an ecosystem. The vault currently has roughly $1 million USD in liquidity. $5 million would be amazing as I'm certain the the increase in Tx activity would be enormous. But even doubling from $1 million to $2 million would be a huge step in the right direction as each bit helps reduce slippage - which encourages more trading. Cheers 🫡

Charles gets too much hate. Cardano isn’t perfect but it’s a hell of a lot better than most other chains. If you think Cardano is bad, look around. Outside a few niche areas the entire industry is wrecked. BTC only pumped thanks to a madman leveraging his entire company to buy it. ETH didn’t break its previous ATH (even with multiple DATs buying it). SOL barely did. Could ADA have done better? Yes, but it could also have done worse. Crypto has not had a great time recently. Scams, hacks, tech failures, security vulnerabilities, AI threats, and the looming quantum problem. Even true believers are beginning to question the future of the industry. But blockchain’s potential to transform the world’s systems hasn’t gone away. If anything, it’s more needed than ever. “Build fast and break things”. The Silicon Valley mindset has permeated the industry’s thinking. Blockchain is just a technology, right? But the result has been hacks to the tune of billions of dollars, chains that go down for hours at a time, and the centralisation of power. What is the point of crypto if we’re just building a faster casino, or a playground for VCs to max extract from retail? Blockchain was supposed to be about changing the economic, social, and political systems of the world. It’s no wonder crypto is down bad. People no longer believe in its potential. Cardano is one of the few projects that has stayed true to the original mission. It has been a slow process, but the result is a chain that is battled-tested. It is hard to find examples of other chains with comparable levels of security, reliability, and decentralisation. Most other crypto projects would kill to be in our position. Not only do we have one of the most advanced chains, we also have an extremely passionate and engaged community. People who are dedicated to seeing Cardano succeed. Charles is one of those people. The reality is Cardano wouldn’t exist without his efforts, and his vision and passion to make something great.

That's not the issue. I believe most people want the Founder to remain active, influential, and strong within the ecosystem. However, that should be accompanied by emotional stability, institutional conduct, and a willingness to engage with criticism and differing opinions. Personal attacks do not contribute to finding solutions or strengthening the community. I've noticed that whenever community members express disagreement or raise legitimate concerns, they are often met with attacks. This creates the impression that criticism is being dismissed rather than addressed, or that pressure is being applied to secure funding without proper scrutiny. No leader should be above questioning. The ability to listen to criticism, respond respectfully, and engage in self-reflection is essential for anyone in a position of influence within the ecosystem.
It's a pretty clear strategy. Make Cardano a toxic hellscape until I leave, and then they will disappear and let Cardano die. Then they will say Cardano is a failed project because Charles rugged everyone. It's a sick and twisted plan.

🚨Cardano, we need to approve this ASAP. This is an investment that in time will bring a lot of revenue to the Cardano Treasury.
🚨 Official Notice 🚨 Today we publicly announce we’re submitting a Cardano treasury withdrawal proposal to supply 7.5M ADA to our protocol. The term is one year and the proposed full amount plus all yield will be returned to treasury. Overview: 🛥️ medium.com/@strikecardano/ca…

Where are all you big Cardano lovers now, the ones who want Cardano to succeed? @snek announced that they’re starting to give a percentage to creators. As of today, on @snekdotfun they’re offering better terms than PumpFun gave creators even in its best days. We have a chance for the #Cardano ecosystem to shine like never before. We have a chance to reach the kind of $ADA volumes we’ve been dreaming about for years. We have a chance to change the narrative… And yet nobody is talking about this today? For nobody is this the biggest news of the day? Unbelievable. But when it’s time to argue about who voted yes and who voted no on proposals, then you can debate all day long… Shame on the ecosystem. $SNEK team (@goofy_crisp, @CardanoRami) has been building for years, only for the ecosystem to stay silent today? WTF?

One of the most beneficial attributes about a token with no emissions, is that every forward-looking catalyst has no constant sell pressure from dilution getting in the way. This is why tokens with elite tokenomics, liquidity, and foundations thrive in good market conditions. This is also why you often see snek:native fly during these times. Emissions and dilution are very tough to overcome long-term.

The growth in @snek’s metrics over the past 4 weeks has been very healthy, showing a clearly active and engaged community. A good industry benchmark for engagement rate is under 2%. Snek is at 10.6% 🚀
