💜 How we talk about blood clots matters. 💜
🏥 The VTE Communication Guide was created to help clinicians navigate the complex conversations that follow a venous thromboembolism (VTE) diagnosis from risk and treatment to emotions and uncertainty.
❤️ This project brings together insights from global experts across clinicians, mental health and communication experts, and patients' lived experiences to create a free, practical tool for any clinician who wants to improve how they connect with patients during a vulnerable time.
📣 The guide includes conversation tips, communication strategies, patient-friendly language, and real-world examples across different stages of care.
