SCOOP: President Trump's claim that a covert U.S. military operation has helped hundreds of commercial ships transit the Strait of Hormuz appears to be corroborated by an advisory earlier this month from INTERTANKO, the world's largest tanker trade association, which describes a tightly controlled nighttime passage system operating along the Omani coast under close coordination with the U.S. Navy.
Trump claimed a secret U.S. operation helped 200 commercial ships transit the Strait of Hormuz. Now a June 5 INTERTANKO advisory reviewed by gCaptain describes a U.S.-coordinated nighttime route along the Omani coast involving ships operating with AIS off, navigational lights extinguished, and limited radar use. The advisory not only corroborates with Trump's claims, but also offers the clearest description yet of how limited shipping has continued through Hormuz during the conflict. Concerned citizens can respectfully contact the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts staff about the initial GWOT Memorial design concept on the National Mall. Email cfastaff@cfa.gov with brief, design-focused comments on elements like compatibility with the historic Mall setting, landscape features, and how clearly the memorial conveys lasting national significance per the Commemorative Works Act. Sample message you can adapt: “As a [veteran / Gold Star family member / constituent], I support honoring GWOT service members and families with a national memorial. However, the abstract symbolic design with vegetation-covered arches and reflection elements raises concerns that it may not provide sufficient direct recognition of individual sacrifice or fully align with criteria for surroundings relevant to the subject. I respectfully ask the Commission to consider revisions during concept review that strengthen commemoration while complementing nearby memorials. Thank you for your important work.” Personalize with your own perspective and send soon—concept reviews are upcoming. Your thoughtful input helps shape a fitting memorial. #GWOTMemorial

Hallelujah!! This is the way. Congratulations to the quiet Americans who deserve credit for this important win. 🇺🇸
This is huge news for the AHI victim community, analytic integrity, and for the American people. These flawed, fraudulent, and manufactured Intelligence Community Assessments (ICA) have caused significant harm to some of our nation’s bravest. ICAs carry a great deal of weight, particularly when declassified as part of a public messaging effort, as was done with the AHI ICA. The assessment was deliberately manufactured and used to discredit some of our nation’s bravest and impede their access to medical care. As was the case with other high-visibility intelligence assessments, it fell far short of analytic integrity standards. Today’s action by @DNIGabbard is a glimmer of hope for our nation’s intelligence officers, service members, and diplomats stationed around the world who have defended this country in austere locations and subsequently had the nation they served turn its back on them. Thank you to Director Gabbard for keeping her commitment to this Committee and me, and for her overall willingness to do the right thing. I am incredibly grateful.

Perfect, really: - rules (don’t walk in the water!) mean you can’t get to the other side (victory) - the structure doesn’t make any sense, but has taken on a life of its own - minimal shade - requires lots of contractors to maintain - lots of people will go ther and sit around
An early look at the @GWOTMF memorial planned for Washington, D.C, released today. It's planned on what are now athletic fields at the corner of Henry Bacon Drive and Constitution Avenue, near the Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

“How about this for the GWOT Memorial: (i) a neo-classical set of marble columns surrounding fountains, (ii) statues of Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, Space Force and federal civil servant veterans doing their GWOT jobs, (iii) a wall with the names of all killed in action, (iv) a wall naming the various locations and campaigns of the GWOT, (v) bas relief panels (just like at the WWII memorial) depicting various events in the war both at home and abroad, and, finally, (vi) a panel dedicated to the spouses and children who bravely held down the home front while their spouse/parent went through endless combat deployments.”

Japan is becoming a middle power superpower--and unlike other middle powers, it's hugging America tight even as it hedges against an uncertain future. A long-read based on my recent trip to Tokyo. @opinion @AEI bloomberg.com/news/features/…

Game changer
Two US aviators went down near the Strait of Hormuz. DoW used an autonomous @Saronic Corsair to find and bring them home - the 1st drone rescue at sea in military history. This is why we build: to keep our troops safe. This was science fiction. American builders made it real 🇺🇸.

"I have just been informed by our Great Military that last night the Iranians shot down one of our highly sophisticated Apache Helicopters while patrolling over the Strait of Hormuz. There were two pilots involved, both are safe and uninjured. Nevertheless, the United States must, of necessity, respond to this attack." - President Donald J. Trump 🇺🇸
