Dieter Helm seems to have concluded that repeal of the Climate Change Act and closure of the Climate Change Committee should form the basis of future UK energy policy. Glad he has caught up. dieterhelm.co.uk/energy-clim…

The BBC had to correct a claim that this analysis came from the CBI. Lying liars are going to keep on telling lies.
1/ NEW: The net zero economy is now supporting: ✅Over 1m jobs ✅£105bn in GVA ✅22,000 small businesses This analysis from @CBItweets is a reminder that net zero is a great British success story. And exactly why this Government is doubling down. theguardian.com/environment/…

Nowhere did I ever imagine that my life would end up like this, where I am forced to take @AndyBurnhamGM proven Pakistani Rape Gang protecting @gmpolice to the High Court of Justice and win. So desperate to try and silence me, and having failed in their repeated attempts to maliciously prosecute me, Greater Manchester Police has now resorted to protecting Pakistani sectarians and Islamists that seek to try and have me killed. Why? Anything to say Andy Burnham? Of how the High Court of Justice has confirmed that your police force acted unlawfully against a man whose only crime is that he successfully campaigns to protect children from gang rape? No, thought not. Makes no difference lad, as each day passes, more and more people know the truth. _________ I’m Raja Miah MBE. Oh, Hillary. Hillary, Hillary. You ignorant slut. As the Senior Military Aide to President Bill Clinton, YOU’RE military aide — the officer who carried the nuclear football in and out of the White House every single day — I saw the “people’s house” up close alongside you. @HillaryClinton Spare us the sanctimonious lectures. And turn on your replies, coward. When you and Bill left in January 2001, your staff ransacked the place. Remember? “W” keys ripped off every keyboard. Phone lines cut. Desk drawers glued shut. Obscene voicemails and vulgar graffiti left behind. Presidential seals and silverware stolen. Furniture damaged. The GAO confirmed the vandalism and theft. It wasn’t “transition friction” — it was a disgrace. You trashed the People’s House on your way out the door and now you’re clutching pearls over Trump? I remember, Hillary. I was there. Remember? The hypocrisy is Olympic-level, Ms. Clinton. And you know it! You of ALL people know it! The American people have long memories. Especially this one! Me! We remember who actually looted the place. Shut up and color.
This is what Trump's done to the people's house: A third of it is rubble. Another third is a cage match. What a metaphor.

I want to be really clear in my response. I am not going to retract anything, I stand by every single word. Labour are calling for me to apologise. The answer is no. Industrial rape across almost every town and city in Britain. Sexual torture. Murder. Endless rape. I sat there for two weeks, listening to these girls. I heard how one girl was raped by a dog, as Muslim men bet on what the animal would do. Girls drugged and locked in cages, like rats. Another, raped by 700 men over three years. Dozens and dozens of these stories through our inquiry, and we are barely scratching the surface. This was allowed to happen EXACTLY because politicians were cowards, refusing to discuss it. I will not make that same mistake. I said what I said, and I meant it. The Labour Party have blood on their hands, yet they think they can demand an apology from me for highlighting the systemic evil they allowed to infect our entire country? They can piss off. I am angry about it. Furious. When you hear directly from these girls about what they have been through, it changes the way you see politics. Forever. Our report will be out very soon. When that happens, I don’t want any apologies from the Labour Party. I don’t care about that. I want to see those politicians responsible for covering up this atrocity behind bars for what they have done to these girls.

Climate policy prevented the IPCC’s high emissions scenario, say the media. It didn’t. The scenario was never possible as it predicted burning 5x more coal than is known to exist, even as natural gas was replacing it. The IPCC must be radically reformed or shut down.

The funniest maths in modern environmentalism. One almond requires 12 litres of irrigated water to produce. Peer-reviewed, ScienceDirect, 2017. A glass of almond milk contains roughly 50 of them. 600 litres of water before the carton is filled. The water comes from the San Joaquin Valley in California, which sits over one of the most over-extracted aquifers on earth. The valley floor has subsided by up to nine metres in places due to groundwater depletion. The carton is then refrigerated, sailed across the Atlantic, refrigerated again, lorried to a Manchester Tesco, and bought by someone who is concerned about the environmental impact of dairy. Meanwhile, in Cheshire. A British dairy cow drinks roughly 70 to 100 litres of water a day and produces around 28 litres of milk. That's about 3.5 litres of water per litre of milk. The water is rainwater that fell on her field or came from a local stream fed by the same rainwater. The rain was going to fall on the field whether the cow stood in it or not. 80% of her moisture intake comes from the grass itself, which is also rain. She converts the grass, free of charge, into a litre of milk containing seven times the protein and four times the calcium of almond milk, and shipped roughly 18 miles to the same Tesco. To recap. 600 litres of stolen aquifer, flown halfway round the world for nutritionally worthless beige water. Or 3.5 litres of rain that was already falling, converted by an animal you can pet, into actual food. The shopper picks the almond. She has been told this is the ethical position. The aquifer would like a word.

I am absolutely fuming 🤬 I've just watched a TV ad for Richmond sausages. It depicted a family of 6 sitting around a table eating their evening meal. Shockingly, they were all white. No one wearing a hijab, no random Chinese kid, no mixed race twins. There wasn't even a blue haired, nose pierced person of indistinct gender. And all this was broadcast during the early evening when impressionable children could be watching. Absolutely disgusting.

There's a sentence in this clip that should end a political career. Watch the exact moment a Chancellor Reeves reveals what she really thinks of you. A tradesman tells Rachel Reeves she's ruining the country. Her reply? She lectures HIM about manners. Imagine watching your livelihood evaporate and being told your etiquette is the problem. Apparently it's now a British tradition to go broke quietly. He's screaming because his fuel is unaffordable. Prices spiked from the Iran war. So what did she do? She had a choice. Reopen the North Sea, we have MASSIVE reserves, or ease sanctions and buy Russian oil. She chose Putin. Now we fund his war AND still pay more. His diesel up 43.5p a litre. His heating bill spiking. Russia makes £150 MILLION A DAY. Weapons. Missiles. Dead Ukrainians. Then when this working man snapped and screamed about it, she didn't defend a single decision. She tone-policed him. Scolded him like a schoolchild while she crushed his livelihood. Standing in her pale green suit she said. One of the things about our country is good manners. That's not very British. You know what else is British? Not funding enemy wars. Not lecturing working men about tone while you wreck their lives. He screamed about reality. She lectured him about etiquette. They're not sorry they're destroying us. They're just annoyed we're making too much noise about it.

It’s easy to fix the economy: Ditch net zero - save £50 billion per annum Slash benefits for 3 million people not even looking for a job - save £30 billion a year Eliminate benefits for foreigners - save £10 to £15 billion per annum Mass deportation of all illegals migrants - save a minimum of £10 billion per annum Sack half the civil service - save a minimum of £8 billion per annum That’s over £100 billion per annum saving Slash regulations on business. Slash taxes on SMEs, working and middle classes, employment Slash corporation tax Stop cheap imported labour And watch the UK sky rocket. It’s obvious. Just do it!!!

🇬🇧 Caesar called them barbarians. They had already made THIS. 🛡️ In 1857, dredgers clearing the Thames near Chelsea Bridge pulled something from the silt 🌊 They washed it clean. A bronze shield. 27 red glass studs. Worked by hand 🛡️ The dredger had never seen anything like it. This is the story of the Battersea Shield 🇬🇧 It was sent to the British Museum 🏛️ The curators dated it to the late Iron Age. 2,000 years old. Older than England. Older than Rome's arrival here. Who made it? Britons did. At a workbench in a roundhouse, by firelight 🔥 They beat the bronze. They set the red glass. It took months. But this shield was not for battle ⚔️ The bronze was too thin to stop a blade. It was made to be given. Their rivers were sacred. At dawn 🌅 they raised the shield. And gave it to the Thames 🌊 It sank. The Romans wrote them down ✍️ Julius Caesar 📜 wrote that the barbaric Britons painted themselves blue. But this shield was already centuries old when he wrote that. Its makers knew how to set red glass into bronze. 2,000 years passed. Rome came. And went. Saxons came. Normans came. England rose. Britain rose. The shield stayed where it was. Until 1857. Now it hangs in the British Museum 🏛️ It is one of many. Stone by stone. Shield by shield 🛡️ Made by Britons. Inherited by the British 🇬🇧 Will you help us spread our history to those who need to hear? 👇🙏 👉 proudofus.co.uk/support 👈 Be part of us. ☝️🇬🇧 Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

Mathematical proof that socialist calculation destroys human welfare emerges from this basic fact: when Soviet shoe factories received quotas measured by weight and volume instead of consumer satisfaction, they did exactly what any rational actor would do under perverse incentives. They mass-produced heavy, unwearable boots in a single size while millions walked barefoot. You can't blame the factory managers. They faced jail time for missing production targets, not for customer complaints that never reached them anyway. Without market prices signaling actual demand for size 8 versus size 12, they optimized for survival under the only metric that mattered to their political overseers. The result? Warehouses stuffed with useless inventory while citizens lined up for hours hoping to find anything remotely wearable. Free market economists call this the calculation problem, and it applies to every good and service under central planning. Prices are information systems that coordinate millions of individual preferences across time and geography. When you eliminate prices through state control, you eliminate the only mechanism that tells producers what people actually want, when they want it, and how much they'll sacrifice to get it. The shoe shortage reveals something deeper about socialist systems: they can hit every statistical target while completely failing human beings. Soviet planners celebrated meeting production quotas while their citizens developed foot problems from ill-fitting footwear. They measured success in tons of leather processed, not in the comfort and mobility of actual people trying to walk to work every morning.

The Met Office must withdraw this stinker of a report immediately. Preferably with a fulsome apology. And then all Net Zero regs in the UK must be reviewed in the light of its "implausible" drivel. My latest article for the Daily Sceptic.
The Met Office is facing a fresh scandal over a Climate Projections report that sits at the heart of UK Net Zero policies after the modelling underlying it is ruled "implausible" by the IPCC, says Chris Morrison. dailysceptic.org/2026/05/19/…
