As part of our Rural Agenda series, citizens from over 12 districts across #Rajasthan will come together in Jodhpur on September 1st and 2nd, 2023, for a purposeful gathering aimed at unlocking the #collectivewisdom of rural #farmers, #migrants, #adivasis, #women and #youth.
On Aug 10- 11, @SocratusW curated a convening at the AGROECOLOGY DONOR CONVENTION 2023 @FundAgroecology (BAF). In line with our #ecosystems approach at Socratus, BAF is committed to revolutionizing #foodsystems by #fosteringsynergy among civil society, public actors and donors.
We collaborated with collectives and partners to bring this vision to life - through an immersive #dining experience, #data-based story telling with on-site drawings, session planning and design and #soil lab sessions, to unearth the need for a network for #agroecology in #India.
The Rural Agenda event concluded on Aug 19, with discussions revolving around access to water, use of #chemicals in #agriculture, insufficient storage options, decline in traditional #cattle breeding, and societal issues such as substance abuse, child labor & #women's safety
To harness the #collectivewisdom of rural India, @ruralvoicein and @SocratusW are organizing a series of discussions on the development agenda for Rural India. The 1st discussion was held in #Muzaffarnagar & the 2nd has been organised with Livelihood Alternatives in #Bhubaneswar
As we mentioned in our first post, Namma Ward Namma Dhwani is a project under the The Flourishing Bengaluru collective (FBC).
FBC is our attempt at putting ideas into action with concerned citizens and two anchor organisations @Socratus & @intiativeforclimateaction

What happens when you combine wisdom with gumption?
Ask a philopreneur.
That and more in this first essay in a series on Socratus' theory of change.
