Today marks 16 years since the Supreme Court put a price tag on our democracy with the disastrous Citizens United vs. FEC decision. The ruling fundamentally changed our campaign finance system by opening the floodgates to unlimited and undisclosed money in our elections.

No audits for Trump. No audits for his companies. No audits for his family. Forever. Last time I checked, the tax code does not have a Trump family exemption.

We have a President who has enriched himself and his family by at least $3.4 billion since taking office. A President who is trading thousands of stocks in companies that benefit from his own policies. A President who is selling pardons to donors and weaponizing the Justice Department against his enemies.  

The American people are paying for all of it. 

That is why @RepAOC, @RepJasonCrow, and I launched the End Corruption Caucus. This level of corruption has consequences, and we are going to make sure Trump faces them.

We need to give people a reason to vote FOR democrats, not just AGAINST Trump. Affordability means: — $10/day childcare — Down payment assistance. — Capping utility bills. Government working FOR you, not against.

This is corruption by the way. Trump asked Big Oil to bankroll his campaign to the tune of $1BN - and they did - in exchange for massive giveaways to the industry. Now senior admin officials are on a war path against clean energy, resulting in higher energy prices for Americans.
