San Francisco and DC are spiritually the same city. Nice urban fabric in the old downtown. Demonic car oriented suburbs where most of the jobs are. Perfect Weather. San Jose is the Fairfax County of California.

California has until today to respond to @GOPoversight’s probe into the state’s prison tablet program. Friendly reminder that serial killer Sammy Amador is watching clips of family BBQs and porn from his prison tablet. @CityJournal

LA Metro didn’t just deny our records request—they dragged it out for over a month, extending deadlines twice before finally admitting they had no intention of releasing the videos or evidence showing how they failed riders by allowing fare evaders to commit violent crimes, including murder, on their system. The reality is simple: they never intended to be transparent. Their response makes clear they see no public value in letting taxpayers see how their transit system failed to protect innocent people from being murdered. Accountability is exactly what they’re trying to hide.
This is outrageous: We requested surveillance video of four recent homicides on the LA Metro. The authorities are now denying our lawful FOIA—because they are scared the truth will get out. Hey @MetroLosAngeles, preserve your documents. We're not going to stop.

The California government is such a dystopia that they are denying our lawful records request on the argument that "the public interest served by not disclosing the record clearly outweighs the public interest served by disclosure of the record." They've gone full Orwell.

Actually, I am a journalist who has exposed you for giving free sex-change surgeries to trans migrants, free solar panels to illegal aliens, and free porn-enhanced iPads to state prisoners. And I’m just getting started.

The title of your article is literally "California inmate accused of calling and sexually messaging a child on prison tablet."
About three years ago, tablets were given to inmates in the California state prison system to provide access to educational materials and increase communication with loved ones outside prison. wjla.com/news/nation-world/c…

California spends $24 million teaching Native Americans how to light a fire. You read that right. The state’s “Tribal Wildfire Resilience” grants have funded, inter alia, drumming rituals, sage blessings, spotted-owl monitoring, summer-camp renovations, and $1 million for forest-themed ingredients at tribe-owned restaurants. The tribes self-certify their own burn leaders based on “cultural experience.” Everyone else, though, must complete the state’s 40-hour professional course. Gavin Newsom just blew $189 MILLION in taxpayer cash on tablets for death row killers—so they can harass victims and binge on porn from their cells while the rest of California burns. This is what “smart on crime” looks like under Newsom: luxury devices for the worst monsters in the state, zero accountability, and victims be damned. Time to end this clown show and boot Newsom out of Sacramento.
House Oversight Chairman James Comer is demanding answers from California Governor Gavin Newsom after it was revealed that death row inmates were given tablets that they used to harass victims and watch pornography. "Newsom is using TAX DOLLARS to provide these tablets for inmates who were communicating and harassing people on the outside." "That's a TERRIBLE use of taxpayer dollars. The inmates aren't even supposed to be communicating with people on the outside." This is quintessential progressivism. Mercy for the criminal, cruelty to the victims and taxpayers.

A California inmate is on trial right now for grooming a 12-year-old on his state-funded tablet.
Sorry Chair. You have been duped by a MAGA “think tank” that repeatedly can’t get their facts right and takes the word of serial killers on death row. HERE ARE THE FACTS x.com/GovPressOffice/status/…

California has spent nearly $189 million on iPads for prisoners, which they are using to watch pornography. Meanwhile, the state doesn’t have enough space to keep its prisoners locked up, so it is releasing many back into the public, creating more victims. @tzsmith

EXCLUSIVE: Earlier this month, we reported that California prison inmates were using state-issued iPads to watch porn, have explicit video chats, and groom minors on the outside. Now, the House Oversight Committee is demanding documents from Gavin Newsom. This is a scandal.

Sure, doubt our sources when you’re the one who gave convicted murderers access to unrestricted communication devices. A man is literally awaiting trial right now in California for using his prison tablet to groom a kid and receive child porn. Were you monitoring those communications too?
This is flat-out FALSE. This MAGA nonprofit provides ZERO evidence for its outrageous claims. Their “sources”? Convicted murderers and a random guy who doesn’t even live in California. FACT: Prison tablets DO NOT provide open internet access. FACT: Communications are monitored, recorded, searchable, and investigated. FACT: These tablets are are used for education, rehabilitation, family communication, and reentry support proven to reduce crime — conveniently omitted from this propaganda post.

New @CityJournal exclusive from @christopherrufo and @StrackHaley: California gave free internet-connected tablets to every single prisoner — zero restrictions based on offense type. Rapists. Child predators. Serial killers. No restrictions on communications with the public - violent predators can and do contact minors. Questions for the Governor: Why no restrictions on tablet access by offense type? Who signed off on zero age restrictions for inmate contacts? Will the state extend the program after documented child exploitation? city-journal.org/article/dea…
