I joined the great @benshapiro—along with @realDailyWire’s @bdomenech and @theisabelb—to discuss all things midterms. We spoke about TX, ME, MI, IA, NJ, NE, the redistricting wars, and the NBA Finals. Also, I offered my not-so-positive take on AIPAC.

This isn't hard: Condemn violence without equivocation. The reported planned violence and intimidation at the University of Michigan is wrong. This is simple and any leader should be able to say so. The fact my opponent cannot bring himself to say that is concerning.
"It's a lot more about what you're advocating for that gets you indicted or not indicted, rather than what you did," Abdul El-Sayed said on Friday night. detroitnews.com/story/news/p…

Important to note 10 years ago this would've been a Democrat US Senator meeting with these guys. If you wanted a visual and there's many out there of how much our politics have changed this is surely one of them.

I think it’s nice that Rubio and Newsom are sitting together at the World Cup. I think it’s nice that Vance is going on The View. More broadly, I think it’s nice when people behave normally, even when their politics diverge sharply.
This kind of stuff is good.

The most envious, Marxist, redistributive person in the world isn't the guy busting his hump to frame a house, or the guy grinding out DoorDash...it's the smug guy worth 7 or 8 figures staring at a trillionaire he considers socially beneath him.

I think it would be great if this were true but I am quite doubtful.
one of the problems with the far left being so “blame America” and libs being uncomfortable with public displays of patriotism is that you then end up with national pride being exclusively coded as right wing, but in reality everyone but the extreme far left/right is patriotic

It's an incredible thing that the world's first trillionaire is an American. Americans are among the richest people in the world, with some of the highest average wealth per capita and more billionaires than any other nation. These things are laudable. American prosperity should be celebrated, not vilified.
Elon Musk just became the world’s first trillionaire. Let’s make sure he’s also the last.

This is a bad cartoon because radical left-wing activism is actually a very well-funded industry with plenty of employment opportunities at the moment.

Or alternatively, perhaps some of the young people who, a few years ago, might have been drawn to the trans trend will instead explore looksmaxxing?
I’m calling it right now. I think Clavicular is going to transition. Every decision she’s making is entirely reasonable to me. These are not thoughts normal heterosexual males have.

NEW: The Mellon Foundation gave $1.5 million to establish a "center for the defense of academic freedom." In audio I've obtained, the group's leader says his goal is to undermine the newly launched classical civics centers: "map who these f---ers are... and knock them out." 🧵

Spencer Pratt mapped the path for a new form of populism—one that directs voter grievances toward concrete local failures rather than distant ideological enemies or national culture war battles. Despite the registered Republican reality TV star falling short in his run for mayor of the largest progressive city in a deeply liberal state, his campaign nonetheless introduced an appealing form of politics, particularly for non-far-left candidates interested in competing in big, blue cities. This is a kind of academic fraud. Every major systematic review on "gender-affirming care" has found the evidence of benefit is extremely weak, and the risk of serious harm is large. So activist researchers just *self-identified* their flawed review as a "systematic review."
NEW: Zhenya Abbruzzese (@segm_ebm) joins me for a special @CityJournal podcast to discuss pediatric transition advocates' leading piece of evidence: the Utah review. Conflicts of interest, omission of harms, failure to conduct formal synthesis, and more. Full interview 👇
