Squished in the vestibule end of a @LNER Kings Cross to Edinburgh service with 8 others. Absolutely chaotic scenes at the station - our train filled by passengers of the previous cancelled service before we even got told the platform. We all did the same to this service. Shocking

Hey @Primark - took a pair of these to the till expecting to pay £10 to be told they were not reduced and paid full price. Told the same by an assistant right next to the rail when I went back to check. If there were several identical pairs in the rail…..that’s your mistake 🤷🏻♀️

So, @HonestMum - I am sure I’m not the only paediatric dentist that would love to show you the reality of what we see and do every day.
There is a reason why, 13 years ago, I wrote a book about sugarbugs that poo on your teeth. I have extracted tens of thousands of tiny teeth.

Sent a thank you present. @DPDCare your drivers took the parcel to the wrong address TWICE. On the third day, helped to finally get it right but the contents looked like this.
“Dear family, thanks for having me to stay. Please enjoy these stale croissants and crushed macarons.”

Decay is the most common preventable disease in children - and impacts on their ability to eat, to sleep and to learn

Labour has announced plans to introduce toothbrushing programme for three-to-five year-olds in fully funded breakfast clubs.
But should children be brushing their teeth at breakfast club or should it be the job of parents?

And the numbers are here to back up why supervised brushing works.
Those children are going to eat better, sleep better, be in school more and not be getting teeth extracted.
How can this idea cause such an uproar??

So is this a waste of taxpayer’s money? Well here’s the data on return on investment. So for every £1 invested in these schemes you would expect to save £3 over a 5-year period, more if you are targeting high-risk children. Prevention works.

Why would anyone object to this???
Having healthy teeth is something every child deserves.
But at the moment 60000 school days are lost to tooth issues, tooth decay is the most common reason for hospital admissions and it costs the NHS tens of millions of pounds a year!
