My wild speculation: in June 2024, there were large relative performance swaps opened involving GME (short leg) while it was near its peak price, against tech companies (long leg) - like Palantir. Burry figured this out and the fact that he’s both short Palantir and long GameStop (double exposure inverse the swaps) says A LOT.
