Domain investing is a copy–paste business. In the beginning, your best move is to copy the proven strategies of successful investors and paste them into your daily habits. Once you start seeing results, that’s when you earn the right to build your own strategies #domainnames

more or less - most domain investors have the same STR of 1 to 2% every year. But, what separates a successful investor from a struggling investor is the ROI on domain names or the average price per name sold. #domainnames 100 Strong names are better than 1000 weak names

domain investors should not label a particular TLD as not worthy of investment. Let the registry registrar enduser decide which #DomainNames TLD is worth registering and which is not. With millions of businesses online - the scope for wide range of TLDs is quite understandable.

It should never be about TLD, or even the SLD It should always be about the best available name at the moment that you can buy All investible names will sell for a particular price range within a particular time frame You need to see which one has the best deal at the moment

whenever you make changes to nameservers - re download the domain data from your registrar account to review again if any domain is missing the changes. #domainnames

some companies like to shorten their domain names and may opt a new gTLD domain for this. For Example if a company name is CapitalOne(.)com - they may go further and shorten it as Capital(.)one and forward the same to the original website. #domainnames

On yesterday's X Space, @domainpro mentioned he registered 1,500 _____Finance.com domains. ✅ Two words ✅ Second word is Finance ✅ .com TLD He had searched 50,000, but only these were available (3%). Got me wondering why he chose "finance" as the keyword. It's all in the data, thanks to @NameBio. Nice space, Todd @abcproductions. Oh, and he said he's already broken even on the registrations.

Ever noticed? A premium domain can be cheaper than your yearly ad spend — and last forever.

My top ten tips for domain name investing: 1. Always buy quality .com domains – they remain the global gold standard and hold long-term value 2. Focus on scalability – build large, high-quality portfolios because most domains won’t sell quickly, but scale evens the odds 3. Price domains realistically – too high and they’ll never sell, too low and you leave money on the table; balance liquidity with profit 4. Consistency matters – treat domain investing like a real business, not a gamble or side hustle 5. Don’t get emotionally attached – domains are inventory, not family heirlooms; keep buying, selling, and moving forward 6. Cash flow is critical – reinvest profits into better domains and portfolio growth rather than overspending on single names 7. Follow the trends – technology, startups, and industries create fresh demand for names; stay ahead of what’s hot 8. Be patient – most domains won’t sell right away; it can take years, so persistence is key 9. Keep operations lean – automate, systemize, and minimize costs to maximize profits in the long run 10. Educate yourself continuously – study successful deals, industry reports, and evolving digital branding needs
