2026 has clear targets for TSR, shaped by what worked in 2025 and what didnโ€™t. โžŸ The learning stays. โžŸ The standards rise. This year is about pushing myself further out of my comfort zone, building confidence, and showing up more consistently by putting my face to the thinking, not hiding behind graphics or text. More variety, presence and more accountability. And yes, an almighty target sitting there too: ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ Starting the TSR podcast. Same values. More visibility. Higher intent.

Wide Attack 4-3-3 - SSG 1 โžก๏ธ A - initially 4v2, 2/3 may move into B; B - at most 1 defender; C - offside line, defenders may not drop into this space before ball entry - Attacking team must play through one of the B boxes before entering final third โฌ†๏ธ 2nd defender may enter B box once ball is played in the B box @TheS_Resource @SSPlanner @SundayShare10 #SundayShare

Technical | Turning Under Time Pressure ๐Ÿ“Œ Turning technique under time time pressure. ๐Ÿงฑ Set-Up: โ˜‘๏ธ In the centre of a 30 by 30 pitch place 4 x mini goals around the middle third. โ˜‘๏ธ Have a group of players alongside each mini goal. โ˜‘๏ธ Place a square within a square in the centre of this playing area (use different coloured cones- red - blue). ๐Ÿ‘•Teams: โšช๏ธโ€™s โ€จ ๐Ÿงฉ How to Play: โ˜‘๏ธ This practice is unopposed. ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท Morocco Goal Analysis โ€“ Mid-Block Pressing & Quick Counterattack ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท โœ…๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆMorocco defended in a compact 4-4-2 mid-block, allowing Brazil to circulate possession while directing play towards the wide areas. โœ…The pressing trigger occurred when Brazil played into the flank, where Morocco set a clear pressing trap. โœ…Quick lateral shifting enabled Morocco to isolate the Brazilian wide player and create a 3v2 overload on the side. โœ…Once the ball was forced wide, Morocco blocked forward passing options and cut off nearby support. This led to a successful ball recovery in a 3v1 situation, with other Brazilian players isolated from the action. โœ…A key factor was Moroccoโ€™s compactness and patience, waiting to press until Brazil had limited passing options. โšฝ๏ธโšฝ๏ธโšฝ๏ธTransition to Attack โœ…After regaining possession, Morocco attacked quickly and directly. โœ…Saibari made an intelligent forward run that pulled the Brazilian midfield line out of position. โœ…His movement created space for Brahim Dรญaz to receive between the lines. โœ…๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ทBrazil was caught in a negative transition, lacking defensive balance and immediate pressure on the ball. โœ…Dรญaz demonstrated quality in tight spaces by playing a well-timed through pass into Saibariโ€™s run. โœ…Saibari finished the move, completing an effective counter-attacking goal. Key Takeaways 1-Disciplined 4-4-2 mid-block defending. 2-Well-executed pressing trap in wide areas. 3-Effective ball recovery through compact positioning and numerical superiority. 4-Quick vertical transition after the regain. 5-Intelligent movement from Saibari and creative passing from Brahim Dรญaz. 6-Strong example of turning defensive organization into an attacking opportunity. @CoachRobPorter @Charafantasme @CoachUdofia @rossf1intoft @FIFAWorldCup @fifaworldcup_ar @CAF_Online #WorldCup2026 #WorldCupLive @JB_SoccerCoach @power_ray @playersessionHQ @CoachingFamily @TheS_Resource @JustcoachMD @SessionShareNet @205_Academy @Coach_Osku @rf14coach @playersessionHQ @tom_skeath @CoachDavidBaird

85 minutes without the ball. Here's what elite players do differently: โ†’ Press with purpose, not just effort โ†’ Cut passing lanes before they open โ†’ Stay compact & make the pitch small Off possession is a skill. Train it. @TheS_Resource @SessionShareNet @Daveyp1180

My @SundayShare10 Switching Play & Crossing 6v4 GK ๐Ÿ’ Set-Up: Play in a portion of the field, ending where the 4 mini goals are placed. Orange attacks the 4 mini goals, while blue attacks the full-size goal with the GK. Two neutral wide players in black stay in the green wide channels. ๐Ÿ’ Rules: Teams can only score after one, or both neutral wide players have been used. Unlimited touches to start. Offside applies in the opposition half. ๐Ÿ’ Coaching Points: Accurate passing, good weight and timing of passes, support angles, knowing when to keep possession and when to switch play. Switch quickly to create crossing chances and finish with a cross. ๐Ÿ’ Progressions: 3-touch max, 2-touch max, 1-touch finish. Wide players can enter from the green box on 2 touches but cannot score. @JB_SoccerCoach @CoachUdofia @power_ray @playersessionHQ @CoachingFamily @TheS_Resource @JustcoachMD @CoachRobPorter @SessionShareNet @205_Academy @Coach_Osku @rf14coach @playersessionHQ @tom_skeath @CoachDavidBaird @d1kicker

My #SundayShare is a small-sided game looking at movement and creating space. Teams line up 3 v 3 with one team tasked with using the outside neutrals to keep possession. The other team try to score if they regain the ball. A progression is then added. Coaching points: ยท Scanning: first action โ€“ check whoโ€™s around you. Then can I see the ball? Can I see my teammate player/target player? ยท Positioning to receive: preferably with an open body on the half turn and on the back foot. ยท Movement off the ball; always try to be an option. ยท Decision-making: when to play forward, when to switch play? Progression: the team in possession can only have one player in each quarter but can rotate around. The defending team can move freely. @SundayShare10 @TheS_Resource

Replying to @SundayShare10
@SundayShare10 as some know, I am working with a new team of players (u11) this season, due to politics! Here is my first session, aimed at looking at how confident they are with the ball at their feet. Planned using the excellent @footballdna_ and @FootballGPT_co

Before using any practice activity, coaches should be able to answer two simple questions: Why are we doing this? What are we trying to improve?

USA received the ball in the attacking third 201 times last night and Paraguay managed 31. We went through the data to find out exactly how they made that happen and why Paraguay never really had an answer. Thread โคต๏ธŽ

Paraguay pressed 360 times and worked harder than USA in every defensive metric. Their players ran, organised, and competed but being busy is not the same as being effective. With any age group, in any format, ask not just are we working hard? but is our hard work returning possession? Effort without a clear trigger and recovery structure is just running = Teach the trigger.
