Morning all. I'm a bit sick of how refugees are routinely dehumanised in public discourse. So I've decided to run 240 miles in 9 days, from where I live in West Wales to a gig in London, to make some noise and raise money for @RefugeeAction. More here: gofundme.com/f/henry-morris-…

Unaccompanied children caught up in the Moria camp fire are facing unimaginable horrors. I’m calling for Ministers to ensure the UK lives up to our responsibilities and promises as a country and offers a place of safety. The Government must show compassion and act without delay

Johnson either knew all along when he signed the EU Withdrawal Agreement that he intended to ditch it after serving its short-term electoral purpose, or he was oblivious to its implications. Either perfidious or clueless. Whichever it is, this man is not fit for public office.

Big fan of the government saying we should go to restaurants and pubs and back to work and pretend everything is normal and then saying it's all fucked because we went to restaurants and pubs and back to work and it's all our fault

The PM tells today’s Telegraph that it is “perverse” that Shamima Begum is eligible for legal aid to challenge the govt stripping her citizenship. Given that @BorisJohnson is no stranger to plagiarising my blog, here’s one he’s welcome to have for free: thesecretbarrister.com/2019/…

In the short term, if you volunteer for Sat duties you are taking work from colleagues with caring responsibilities. In the medium/long term, you are telling @HMCTSgovuk there is nothing we wont accept. You are undermining the mutual trust we are all building. Hold strong.

LEGAL TWITTER: This is my incredible friend. She’s a mature student, a single mum and has worked so hard to get to this point. After the death of her mum she now wants to be a Coroner’s Officer. Is there anyone in the field who could give her some work experience/mentoring?

The wage gap isn't real. Men just tend to go for higher paying jobs, like doctor, engineer and CEO. Whereas women go for lower paying jobs like female doctor, female engineer and female CEO.

A passport is only worth the rights it confers. It means nothing inside ones own country. This passport is weaker than the one it replaces, symbolising the removal of our rights to move and operate freely across our own continent. It therefore represents abject political failure.
Our new blue passports will be the most technologically advanced and environmentally friendly British passports ever. Read more about them here: gov.uk/government/news/iconi…

The @Conservatives have closed over 300 criminal courts, and are planning to close even more. Many victims of crime would like to be within 2 hours of a court. How about doing something for them?
