It is staggering to think that 2³² is about 4 billion, and the number of cases of #COVID19 is doubling every few days. At this rate, it will only take between 3-6 months for over half of the world's population to be infected. That is, it will take fewer than 32 "doublings".

Today I received the official word from my department chair that I have been awarded tenure. I feel a tremendous sense of gratitude for the mentors like @juliatucson that I have had, and for the students and postdocs in @ECRL_Cornell that made this possible. Thank you all!!!
