Hit the gym harder than ever this fall and winter. Not just for strength, but also for rotational speed and power. Appreciate the guys at @TrainPmt they really focus on the needs of the individual player. Finding the lowest hanging fruit and attacking it. Finding a facility that understands rotational sports is huge!! Biggest issues in most high school player is downward chop, grip strength and push pull power. We hit all the average spots to bring the scores up. Combined that with a few tweaks in the swing and good things are happening. For YEARS, you would see knob to ball for me. And what that meant to me was pushing the knob to the ball. Another big “small” tweak… worked on getting rid of that push, and working on cutting down some movement, being in a more ready to attack position at landing. Small changes can make big results.
