My MadMixtress, vape, music, motorcycles, good food. Not one to suffer fake agenda, “for profit” Public Health shills that don’t PH, or headlines that..
Vaping products are the most popular stop smoking aid in England. However, vaping is often portrayed in a negative way, leading to confusion about its safety.

🚨BREAKING🚨
I was just informed by my Sweden contact 👇🇸🇪
“The EU are revising it's TPD laws for all european countries and they are taking submissions from the public to have as insight on how people want it regulated (like flavor bans etc)”
Very limited timeframe on this evidently. Also tagging.
@jkelovuori
Can’t make this shit up! The corruption that has shuttered (non big tobacco) vape businesses, is protecting deadly cigarettes and their shareholders. For the children, of course. #ReparationsNow
Funny how former FDA officials change their tune once they go thru the FDAs "revolving door" to obtain a high paying job in the industry they once regulated:
Dr. Matt Holman was the former Chief Scientist at the FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products (2017-2022) where he approved and signed the infamous "fatal flaw" memo that resulted in marketing denials to 99% of millions of PMTAS.
Dr. Holman is now the VP & Chief Science & Regulatory Strategy Officer for PMI. (While at the FDA he oversaw & signed PMI’s IQOS PMTA and MRTP authorizations).
During his FDA tenure, he didn't seem very concerned about the 500K adult smokers that died every year he was there. Instead, he was worried more about how flavors (that adults prefer) might also be used by youth.
NOW, he is complaining that "America Forgot the Smoker. It’s Costing Lives."

FDA Commissioner uses anecdotes to defend vaping enforcement, ignoring adult success stories and teen usage data that contradicts the narrative. #VapingPolicy#FDA#TeenBehavior
Is awarding only big tobacco with all of the approvals a “pre-established regulatory objective? Must be, because the small vapor solutions that have helped millions are getting crushed. Wiped out in favor of big tobacco. Gross, Scott.
Not exactly what I said. I was addressing only the enforcement discretion policy, and said I would have considered governing principles on which products qualified for that enforcement discretion, to align with pre-established regulatory objectives.
@DrMakaryFDA is Ignoring White House wishes to allow harm reduction products, instead, working for big tobacco to kill tobacco harm reduction. Not one of us believes BT is the solution to the deaths caused by smoking. Save small vapor!
The National Youth Tobacco Survey (NYTS), a key data source for claims of a 'youth vaping epidemic,' has been misinterpreted, leading to panic and policy decisions like flavor bans. #Vaping#PublicHealth#DataAnalysis
Typical anti-THR “science” to keep cigarettes on top, and tobacco profits healthy. How many anti-vape studies get debunked as fraudulent lies? >98%. Smoking kills, vaping saves!
Study linking e-cig use to stroke has been retracted due to fraudulent author behavior. Used in anti-vaping campaigns, it reported a sample size tenfold larger than what's actually in the NHANES dataset, a massive discrepancy indicating serious issues. #Vaping#Health#Research

How many people accidentally quit smoking with "authorized" NRT?
How many of you accidentally quit smoking with nicotine vaping?
Imagine seeing any professional BLOCKING people from trying to quit accidentally?
Oh wait, that's what you'll find in that thread you may, could, might, or should read.
3⃣ It blocks "accidental switching."
Preplanned quit attempts with an Rx would only occur in the ~15% of people who smoke and are actively planning to quit.
But the reason why e-cigs are so impactful at pop-level is because many people switch without planning/trying to.
We commend @HealthNYGov for taking action to stop the flow of illegal vape products. Illicit products put youth at risk for nicotine addiction and evade public health safeguards. Strong enforcement like this helps protect communities and save lives.

Did you know that vaping is estimated to have reduced the number of adult smokers by 6.1 million people between 2011 and 2022?

Rep. Krishnamoorthi spent years killing the vape industry with endorsements from “public health” groups secretly funded by Big Tobacco’s own settlement money. The MSA pays them as long as cigarettes keep selling. Good riddance, Raja. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
Not if you listen to special interests, or bulk/bilk media, funded conclusion science.
Listen to your friend who got out of the quit/fail tobacco pharma cycle. And feels remarkably better for it.
14 years ago today I got my first vape kit & quit smoking after 25 years. 5 years earlier I'd given up trying to quit, having used every method multiple times without success. But thankfully a friend made me try her vape and that's when I realized I'd found my way out of smoking!
"One of the most remarkable exposés of a billionaire’s ability to control a global policy debate is how Michael Bloomberg created and funded more than a dozen NGOs (and a good part of the WHO) to implement his strategy against tobacco harm reduction techniques."
The rapid rise of groups of foundations, spending billions on activist lobbying campaigns via dark fiscal sponsors, is controlling the narrative and changing the public policy landscape.
@zaruk asks: What is the true cost of this reallocation of resources?

When will it be ok to use tobacco harm reduction vaping? A: When big tobacco owns it all and bastardizes the product into something awful, without an off ramp. Silly regulators- either greed or extreme ignorance. The people deserve better.
Major tobacco companies were behind a vape product Registry bill introduced in Kansas.
The Kansas Senate unanimously approved the bill imposing tougher regulations on vapes in an effort to crack down on unlicensed products and sent it to the House.

Vaping doesn't have to be perfectly safe to be massively better than smoking. Public policy should be designed for the best outcomes for the vast majority, including helping smokers switch. #Vaping#PublicHealth
So Massachusetts in their infinite wisdom are proposing making POSSESSION of an e-cig punishable with fines and prison time.
Only @mbsiegel is talking about it
