Of the countless images I have captured in my life, none is more iconic than this one. I can't believe it has been 30 years since Hurricane Andrew devastated South Florida. I'll never forget capturing this image of the zoos flamingos huddled in the ladies restroom for protection.

It appears that #Miami just set its third record high heat index in four days (Aug 17, 19, 20). We reached 107° so far today. Prior to this stretch, the previous record high heat index was set back on May 20, so it's been a while.
