Medicaid is the largest payer of mental health services in the US. I am deeply worried that suicides will increase if this bill is signed into law.

Confirmation for RFK Jr is expected this week. Researchers have already written letters to warn against this decision. We cannot forget those w/Long COVID whose lives would be at even GREATER risk under his leadership. Praying for wisdom to know what to do

NEW: Chicago's 911 mental health response teams no longer include police.
The CARE teams — with no arrests made in 1,500 runs — first included CPD officers & CFD paramedics, but now only use emergency & behavioral health workers trained by the public health department. Full:
