Have to disagree Brother. Schools are not a contributing factor to the death rate. Kids don’t get, spread or die from it at a statistically significant rate. The infinitesimal risk to children of actual school does not outweigh the real damage done to them by virtual school. 1/

3/19/21 schools close, NC deaths 7 day avg = 0, US dead = 187, 1/28/21 - NC 7 day avg deaths = 100, US dead = 436k. I want my kids in school as much as you, this is hard on all of us, but things need to get better 1st, not worse

ICYMI, a study between UNC & Duke found children giving COVID-19 to adults at school was 0.0%. There were 32 cases of adults giving to children. The findings were published by the American Academy of Pediatrics this week. The study was done with more than 1 million subjects.

I trust the CDC, AAP, and the medical professionals who spoke last night that it is better for kids to be in school. I woke up worried about my children’s education. 6 years in CMS and until today I was never worried. Frustrated sometimes yes, worried never. Remote doesn’t work
