I join with my colleagues who have pledged the same in their districts: if we can prove you travelled from EDKY to DC to commit violent criminal acts, then you will be prosecuted by the @USAO_EDKY. We are sworn to protect the Constitution and uphold the law.

The violence today at our Nation’s Capitol was shocking and I condemn it fully. The Constitution protects the right to peaceably assemble, not forcibly storm a govt. building & commit violence. Those who committed violence should be held accountable under the law.

Internet based scams, including romance scams, are increasingly prevalent. Be cautious about sending money to someone you’ve only met online. If it seems too good to be true, it often is. Great job @FBILouisville in investigating this case. @USAttorneys
