A Trump-appointed Texas federal judge ruled that 4M American workers won't have to pay taxes on overtime pay, a significant victory for President-elect Donald Trump before he even takes office, fulfilling a campaign promise. The judge ruled that a June 2024 Biden Administration overtime pay rule that extended overtime to 4M more Americans was illegal because it only considered pay rate and not job type. Now the 4M impacted workers don't have to worry about taxes on overtime because they aren't eligible. Wait a minute.
