🌩️ Know the difference:
🔎 Watch = Be prepared (conditions are favorable).
⚠️ Advisory = Use caution (hazardous weather likely).
🚨 Warning = Take action (dangerous weather happening or imminent). #WeatherSafety #StaySafe

It is with great honor, but also sadness, that we announce Colonel Rapich's retirement. For over 33 years, his legacy of leadership, service, and dedication has shaped UHP and our department in countless ways. Thank you, Colonel. Your impact will be felt for years to come.
We are announcing Colonel Michael Rapich’s upcoming retirement, effective November 1st. After 33 years of dedicated service, 9 of which he served as Colonel, his impact on the @UTHighwayPatrol and the Department of Public Safety is immeasurable. When his duties as Colonel for UHP extended to Deputy Commissioner in 2018, he also oversaw our Division of Emergency Management and our Bureau of Emergency Communications. Colonel Rapich has been a leader, mentor, and friend to many of us. His steady guidance and deep commitment to public safety have created a legacy that will continue to strengthen our department for years to come. Please join us in thanking and congratulating Colonel Rapich for his extraordinary career.
