Polish-owned fuel trader Orlen Latvija remained the largest taxpayer in #Latvia in 2023, the State Revenue Service (VID) reported. VID awarded 20 #companies in 5 regions for their labour #tax contributions in 2023.

Electricity #prices in #Estonia will increase following the planned decoupling from the Russian #electricity grid in February 2025. System operator @EleringAS has proposed raising the rate for production and consumption from EUR 0.04 to EUR 5.31 per MWh.

The registration of candidates for parliamentary #elections in #Lithuania has ended. According to the Central Electoral Commission, 19 political #parties nominated altogether 179 candidates. Voters will elect 141 MPs in two rounds in October 2024.
